🎭 Wednesday: Our 3–6 Concerts are happening! We can’t wait to see our students take to the stage and showcase all their hard work. 🌟

🎶 Thursday: It’s time for our K–2 Concerts! Our youngest performers will be ready to entertain and shine on stage. We’re looking forward to a fantastic day of celebrating our students. 👏✨

We can’t wait to share these special moments with our Blue Haven community! 💙

BE SAFE

Everyone has the right to feel safe at school.

Being safe means caring for ourselves and others, following staff directions, respecting people’s space, privacy and belongings, asking for help when something isn’t right, and resolving differences calmly and fairly. The revised Code is also clear that violence, threats, harassment and bullying — including online — are not acceptable.

Safety is more than gates, rules and procedures.

It is creating a school where a child feels safe enough to learn.
Where a teacher feels safe enough to teach.
Where staff feel valued in their workplace.
Where families know concerns will be heard and addressed.
Where kindness, boundaries and high expectations can exist together.

That is the school community we continue to build at Blue Haven.

And it takes all of us.

Our students. Our staff. Our families. Our community.

Let’s hold ourselves — and each other — to a high standard of respect, responsibility and safety.

Not simply because they are words in a Code, but because they are how strong communities are built.

🏉 Celebrating Terau's Sporting Excellence! 🏉

Congratulations to Terau for competing as part of the Sydney North team at the NSW PSSA Primary Girls Rugby 7’s. Terau showcased incredible skills, teamwork and sportsmanship on the field. Our students proudly cheered her on during breaks, celebrating her achievements together. As a valued member of many sporting teams at school, Terau continually displays commitment, positivity and leadership, inspiring everyone around her. We are so proud of her achievements and the encouragement she brings to our school community!

A BIG WEEK AHEAD AT BLUE HAVEN PUBLIC SCHOOL! 💙✨

There’s plenty happening across Blue Haven this week — learning, performing, competing and representing our school with pride!

🌟 Monday: A quieter start to the week — time to settle in, get organised and get learning!

👏 Tuesday: Our Years 3–6 Assembly brings our primary students together to celebrate learning, achievement and all the great things happening across the school.

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Wednesday: We’ll be cheering on our athletes at the Zone Athletics Carnival. Run hard, jump high and make us proud!

🎭 Thursday: It’s concert time! Our School Concert Dress Rehearsal takes centre stage, alongside another great day of Donny Academy.

🎤 Friday: We finish the week with our students representing Blue Haven at the Central Coast Public Speaking Competition. Speak proudly, speak confidently and enjoy the moment!

Another week full of opportunities to learn, belong, perform, compete and shine.

🎉Celebrating Creativity and Learning in 5/6B!🎉

5/6B had an amazing day embracing their love for learning and creativity during our Book Parade. Dressed up in their favourite book characters, students showcased their individuality and enthusiasm for reading. It was wonderful to see their imaginations come to life as we combined fun with education. Events like this truly highlight the vibrant spirit of our school community and the joy of public education. We’re so proud of our students for their participation and creativity – fostering a lifelong love of learning every step of the way.z

💙🐬 Celebrating SAS Staff Appreciation Week! 🐬💙

This week, we are sending a huge Blue Haven thank you to our incredible School Administrative and Support Staff, the wonderful people who help make our school the caring, welcoming and special place it is every single day. 💙

Our SAS staff are so much more than the people who keep things running. They are the friendly faces, helping hands, problem solvers, organisers, carers, encouragers and quiet champions behind so many of the moments that matter for our students, staff and families.

From the front office to our classrooms and right across our school, you bring kindness, patience, dedication, laughter and genuine care to everything you do.

We are incredibly lucky to have such an amazing team at Blue Haven Public School. Thank you for the countless big and little things you do each day, often behind the scenes, but always making a difference. 💙

✍️ Developing Persuasive Writing Skills in 5/6M ✍️

In 5/6M, students have been exploring the art of exposition. They are sharpening their persuasive writing abilities by using a variety of techniques, aiming to make their arguments more compelling and effective. We are so proud of their creativity and progress in expressing their ideas clearly and confidently!

🏀 Celebrating Our Boys Basketball Team! 🏀

Congratulations to our Boys Basketball Team for their determination throughout the PSSA knockout competition! The team demonstrated impressive growth, competitiveness, teamwork and sportsmanship, always playing fairly and representing Blue Haven with pride. We are proud of their positive attitude and the inspiring effort they brought to every game. Amazing work boys!

BE RESPONSIBLE

Responsibility is knowing that our choices matter.

Being responsible means being ready to learn, following school expectations and routines, using technology appropriately, trying our best, asking for help, helping others and learning from our mistakes.

And perhaps that last part matters most:

We will all make mistakes. What matters is what we do next.

At Blue Haven, we want our students to develop the courage to own their choices, repair relationships, learn, grow and make a better choice next time.

That takes a partnership between school and home.

When families and schools reinforce the same high expectations, our children receive a powerful message:

Your choices matter.
Your learning matters.
Other people matter.
And you are capable of doing better.

Responsibility isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being accountable and continuing to grow.
