Bloomsbury Soldiers Memorial Hall We've had birthday parties, engagements, weddings, school speech night, dances, trivia nights, markets.

The Bloomsbury Soldiers Memorial Hall was erected on land donated many years ago by an old Bloomsbury identity who was a returned ANZAC, to pay homage to our district’s past servicemen. With Bloomsbury being an isolated community – 40km south of Proserpine, 85km north of Mackay, our Hall has been central to many social occasions throughout the years.

Dawn Service commences at 5.30am

The Bloomsbury Soldiers Memorial Hall Committee will no longer be running the monthly community Bloomsbury Country Markets. We would like to thank everyone who has supported our markets and due to insurance and having such a small committee we can no longer hold the market.

We will be holding the Bloomsbury Heritage Markets. If its a hit we can hold it each year aiming to be bigger and better. Anyone interested please contact the hall with you details. Looking for all old trades and lost crafts and food vans and kids entertainment as well. Dont forget it has a 1920s theme so come dressed like they would back then and have fun.

The Bloomsbury Soldiers Memorial Hall Committee would like to thank Whitsunday Property Sales & Leasing for their very generous donation of $10 000.00. We are so close to being able to afford the costs involved in replacing an old wall and roof and we really can't thankyou enough. We will be able to continue to provide the meeting place and place of community events for years to come. Thankyou once again.
