Last night we had a training session with Marc Armitage at Play.
As educators, we know how important play is!
Marc challenged us to slow down, look more deeply at children's play, and reflect on how and when we step into or out of play.
We left feeling inspired, energised, and excited to continue growing as educators. Investing in professional learning means investing in the children and families we support every day, and we're committed to continually reflecting on and strengthening our practice.
A huge thank you to Marc for sharing his knowledge, passion, and insights with us. We can't wait to bring these ideas back into our learning environments and continue creating meaningful opportunities for children to play

Yesterday we had a visit from our Federal Member Andrew Gee MP for Early Learning Matters Week.
This visit was embraced by all our children, families and our educators with everyone submitting questions to Andrew.
Our families submitted some great topics of concerns for Andrew such as ratios, safety regulations and ideas such as why isn't childcare tax deductable since it is a work expense?
I am so grateful that our families got involved. If we want our elected officials to truly represent us they need to have real life information on the issues we face, especially with regards to our children as they are our future!
Thank you to Andrew Gee MP as his team for taking the time to not just visit but to listen to our concerns and our passion for the Early Childhood sector.

Yesterday we raised $257 at our Cancer Council, Biggest Morning Tea bake sale.
This has become one of our favourite days of the year as we connect with out local community, sharing out the yummy treats that our families have made.

This week Circle Early learning Blayney have been involved in celebrating NAIDOC Week.
This has been a wonderful opportunity for the children and educators to connect with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples culture and traditions.

Along with exploring weaving techniques and painting we have also been involved in the sea of fish challenge promoting inclusion, and celebrating Torres Strait Islander culture and artistry.

The preschool room has had a revamp, and a new mud kitchen for the sand pit. Thank you Rob and Bay for helping me and giving up your sunday for the centre.
