Happy Father’s Day! 💙

Today we celebrate the wonderful dads, grandfathers, father figures and special people who help our children feel loved, supported and encouraged to be their very best.

Thank you for your kindness, guidance and encouragement and the countless little moments that help our children grow, learn and thrive. We are so grateful for the important role you play in the lives of our children and within the wider St Paul community.

☕🥓 Dads' Drop-off Breakfast 🥓☕

What a fantastic start to the day yesterday! It was wonderful to welcome so many dads and father figures to our Dads' Drop-off Breakfast.

From enjoying delicious egg and bacon rolls and a coffee to challenging each other with our giant outdoor games, there was plenty of fun, laughter and conversation to be shared. Most importantly, it was a great opportunity for dads and father figures to connect with one another and spend some special time together within our school community.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the morning such a success. We loved seeing so many smiling faces and the strong sense of community that makes St Paul such a special place. 💙

Our Year 6 children had a stellar day at the Adelaide Planetarium on Monday! After watching The Sun: The Living Star and learning about constellations, planets, asteroids and the movement of the Sun, they took on a NASA STEM Challenge. Using their problem-solving and spatial reasoning skills, they successfully completed a complex 3D shape challenge, with some children even creating extra configurations. A fantastic day of space exploration and STEM learning! ✨🛰️🌞🚀

What a wonderful way to finish our Book Week 2026 celebrations! 📚✨

Today, St Paul Lutheran School came alive with an incredible array of storybook characters as we enjoyed our annual Book Week Parade and Dress Up Day. The creativity, imagination and effort that went into the costumes was simply amazing, with children proudly bringing their favourite characters and stories to life. From classic tales to modern favourites, it was a joy to celebrate the books, characters and creativity that inspire a love of reading. What a fantastic way to end a week filled with storytelling, imagination and fun! 📖🌟

We are Authors 📚✨

This Book Week, we are celebrating not only the wonderful books our children love to read, but the authors they are!

At St Paul, we believe we belong to a writing community of children and adults, where every child’s voice matters. We empower our children to see themselves as curious, creative and experimental authors - writers who are constantly evolving, reflecting, taking risks and discovering new ways to share their ideas.

Our children are given the time, encouragement and authentic opportunities to write for real purposes and real audiences, knowing that their stories, ideas and voices have value.

Because at St Paul, we don’t just want children to learn how to write - we want them to see themselves as writers. ✍️📖💛

🎵📚 A Symphony of Stories 🎸🥁

As part of our Book Week 2026 fun, today our children created cardboard musical instruments inspired by this year's theme, Symphony of Stories. From drums, guitars and pan flutes to wonderfully unique inventions, creativity and imagination were on full display as our children explored the sounds of storytelling.
