Griffin Aikido is a local martial arts club based in Blackwood. Classes run on Tuesday & Thursday It's all in the technique.

🌱 New Places Available in Griffin Aikido – AikiKIDS Program

We love this moment in our kids’ program. Some of our older AikiKIDS students have recently progressed into our advanced adult class — a big milestone for them 👏

That progression has now opened a small number of places in our AikiKIDS program.

Aikido for children is not about fighting.
It’s about:
✔ confidence without aggression
✔ emotional regulation
✔ focus and body awareness
✔ respect, cooperation, and self-control

Our classes are especially suited to children who:
• don’t enjoy competitive sports
• need confidence and calm
• benefit from clear structure and positive role models

Book your child into an active and engaging activity this school holidays with Griffin Aikido’s CREATIVE program. Combining Aikido, acrobatics, movement and physical theatre in a fun and empowering experience for children age 8 years +

Your child will experience:
👉 elements of performing arts, improvisation and choreographic techniques
👉 safe and challenging physical exercise with expert instruction
👉 self-defence techniques, safe lifting, rolling and landing skills
👉 an introduction to mindful meditation to enhance mind/body connection
👉 skills enhancement in coordination, balance, team work and confidence
👉 an opportunity to experience in a performance showing
