Aikido is a non-violent, defensive martial art for men, women and children. Aikido is a fun and dynamic practice which builds strength, confidence, fitness, coordination and self-discipline. Integrate your mind and body to flip and repel your partner, regardless of strength. It's easy to learn and rewarding to perfect. Griffin Aikido founder, Sensei Rob Griffin is a highly qualified and experience

d instructor. He holds a 5th dan black belt from the Institute of Aikido Australia and 30 years experience in physical movement and instruction. Rob has spent the last 12 years employed as a youth work & senior youth worker. Classes are held Tuesday & Thursday evenings in Blackwood. Aiki KIDS (5 -13yrs): 5:15 - 6:15pm
ADULTS (14+): 6:30pm-8pm

KIDS Fees: (per school term)
1 x class per week: $155/term
2 x class per week: $285/term
We offer sibling discounts ���, come-n-try sessions and accept mid term enrolments (pro-rata)

ADULTS Fee: (paid monthly)
1x class per week: $75/month
2x class per week: $145/month

🌱 New Places Available in Griffin Aikido – AikiKIDS Program

We love this moment in our kids’ program. Some of our older AikiKIDS students have recently progressed into our advanced adult class — a big milestone for them 👏

That progression has now opened a small number of places in our AikiKIDS program.

Aikido for children is not about fighting.
It’s about:
✔ confidence without aggression
✔ emotional regulation
✔ focus and body awareness
✔ respect, cooperation, and self-control

Our classes are especially suited to children who:
• don’t enjoy competitive sports
• need confidence and calm
• benefit from clear structure and positive role models
