This week, 7 of our Shelley Superstars competed in the heats of the NSW Boccia Competition. They were wonderful representatives of our school and their weekly training sessions paid off with a mix of wins and losses in some very close games.

Today is National Sorry Day. This is an important day of remembrance across Australia, dedicated to acknowledging the Stolen GenerationsâAboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children who were forcibly removed from their families, communities, and cultures by past government policies.
At Shelley, we are taking this time to reflect, learn, and honor the strength and resilience of Stolen Generations survivors. We believe that truth-telling and education are fundamental steps toward reconciliation and building a supportive, inclusive community.
Thank you for your continued support as we learn, heal, and grow together.

On Thursday our Shelley community came together to acknowledge and commemorate ANZAC Day. We were honoured to have so many special guests, including a representative of the RSL, as well as serving members of the Australian Army, Airforce and Navy. We were also proud of our students K-6, who were incredibly respectful throughout the ANZAC service and our 3-6 Q&A with special guests following.
