🏙 🏙 Creating Organisation Structure 🏙 🏙

🕋 A Legal Entity is also referred to as Company. It contains the definitions for all legal entities that are part of the organisation. Every employee must have a Legal Entity assigned when he is being hired or setup in the system.

🕋 A Business Unit focuses on a specific business function, for example manufacturing, sales, or marketing. It represents a segment of a Legal Entity and is below it.

🕋 A Division is a division of a Business Unit. It can be used directly as a Division of a Legal Entity as well if required.

👩‍🦳 The administrators can add employees to the system or import the employee data using the Import Employee Data tool.

👩‍🦳 User id or person id is mandatory when performing employee import. The user is not processed if this field in the template is left blank.

🎅 Permission groups are used to define a groups of employees.

🎅 These employees share some common specific attributes.

🎅 Various attributes can be used to select the group members for e.g. a user's division, department, location etc.

🎅 The selection criteria that are available for defining groups can be configured in the data models.

⏰ The time profile contains the time types the employee can apply his attendance or absence against.

⏰ The time types assigned in the time profile can be of any classification including attendance and absence types.

⏰ The time profile can include up to three favourite time types.

🤸‍♂️ HireAction is an hris-action from the Succession Data Model which defines if the user can access the "Add New Employee" link in the Admin Center.

🤸‍♂️ "Add New User" permission under the "Manage User" section in the role grants access to the "Add New Employees" link in the Admin Center.

🤸‍♂️ Members in a permission group should be able to hire an employee if they have "Add New User" permission.
