Bingo, Big Smiles & Community Vibes! 🃏😄🤝
Our Year 5/6 students had the best morning at the nursing home! 🌟
They teamed up with the residents for a fun game of ‘Cards Bingo’ 🃏and for some of our students, it was their first time playing. There were plenty of laughs, cheers and friendly competition 😄 but the best part was getting to chat, connect and share the morning together 💬❤️

Last week, our Parents and Friends Association organised a wonderful family disco! The dance floor was full of energy, with great moves and fantastic tunes from DJ Biddle. A big thank you to everyone who came along and supported our school community. We’re looking forward to another community event next term! 🥳🤩🎉

🚒👩‍🚒Fire Station Excursion 👨‍🚒🧯🚒
Our students had a wonderful visit to Blackall Fire Station, learning from Megan, Matthew and Cindy from the Fire Service and SES about caring for the Australian environment and responding to natural disasters.
Through hands-on activities, students deepened their HaSS learning in a fun and meaningful way.

🌟 Learning from our local community! 🌟
A big thank you to Mrs Picone for visiting our Year 5/6 classroom and sharing her family’s experiences managing their property through natural disasters.

As part of our HaSS learning, students explored how families prepare for and respond to bushfires, droughts and floods. Mrs Picone shared practical strategies for protecting property, managing risks and building resilience in challenging times.

It was a fantastic opportunity for students to connect their classroom learning with real-life experiences in our community.
