Congratulations Wendy!

The Blackall Cultural Association Inc. would like to congratulate our talented exhibitor Wendy Just on receiving a Highly Commended Award in the Photography section at the Barcaldine Art Exhibition tonight for her piece ‘Wonder of a Water Droplet’!

The judge praised Wendy’s knowledge and skill as a photographer, which is beautifully demonstrated throughout her work. A wonderful achievement, congratulations!

We would also like to recognise all of our Blackall exhibitors for sharing their incredible work and talent with the community.

A special thank you to all the wonderful volunteers, judge, caterers and sponsors for helping make the exhibition at Barcaldine such a success. The support that is received around this exhibition is outstanding!

And most importantly, congratulations to all the artists who exhibited tonight, what a fantastic display of creativity and talent overall!

What an incredible start to our first Brolga Wire Sculpture Workshop! 🦩✨

Despite the chilly winter weather, participants wrapped up warm, got creative and are already bringing some amazing brolga sculptures to life. It's been wonderful to see the talent, enthusiasm and friendships growing alongside these unique creations.

As our first workshop comes to a close, we're looking forward to welcoming our next group of participants on Tues/Wed. We can't wait to see even more masterpieces take shape!

A wonderful morning was enjoyed by everyone at our recent Garden Group visit to Bob and Annette's stunning award-winning garden. 🌿🌸

Despite the crisp winter weather, our members wrapped up warm and braved the cool conditions to enjoy a morning filled with friendship, inspiration and plenty of garden admiration.

A huge thank you to Bob and Annette for generously welcoming us and sharing the passion, creativity and hard work that has gone into creating such a beautiful space. There was plenty of inspiration, great conversation, delicious smoko and lots of laughs along the way.

Thank you to everyone who came along and made it another fantastic community gathering. We can't wait to see you at our next Garden Group event!
