Happy holidays everyone! Wow! What a term finale! A HUGE thank you to our incredible P&C for organising this Fun Run event. I’m not sure who had more fun, the kids or the adults! For those who missed it, enjoy the sliming video below.
A special shoutout also to our voluntary fire services team, Mr Hinde and I definitely appreciated the shower after the slime event! Our P&C managed to raise over $10000 which is absolutely amazing, well done everyone!
Thank you to the school community, our staff and our wonderful students for another fabulous term. Enjoy a safe and restful break so you are ready for another big term as we head towards the end of this year!
See you all next term!

🔴🔵🟢 Carnival Update 🟢🔵🔴

As you all know this Friday is our Faction Athletics Carnival.

The forecast shows that there is a chance of rain, however the latest Bureau of Meteorology update indicates that this is now less likely than previously predicted and the chance of rain is more likely from 5pm onwards. Therefore, at this stage we will be going ahead with the carnival as planned.

If there are any significant changes in the weather forecast we will advise you all as soon as possible. We understand that making late changes for carnival dates can create challenges for everyone involved and this is always taken into consideration when making our decisions.

🔴🔵🟢 Faction shirts can be worn both Wednesday and Friday.

📝 Class Update 📝

In Year 4/5 we have been learning about biographies.

We chose a person we admire, then researched all the important information about their life. We wrote draft reports so we could organise and get all the details right. Then we completed our outstanding professional texts. A bobble head of our person completed the biography, and they are now proudly on display in our classroom.

We invite you to come and check them out!

Next week - autobiographies!

🥋 Karate 🥋

This term, our Year 3–6 students have enjoyed participating in karate lessons, with our K–2 students having their session this week.

Below is the details of the dojo that has been running the sessions, should anyone be interested in finding out more or pursuing karate outside of school.

We thank Kristina for providing our students with the opportunity to trial this sport.
