🌈🎶 One Big Voice! 🎶🌈

Our choir students had an incredible day today representing Bindoon Primary School at One Big Voice!

Just look at that sea of colour! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜 From red, orange and yellow through to green, turquoise, blue and purple, thousands of students came together to fill the arena with colour - and even more importantly, with their voices! 🎤🎶

And amongst all those colours, can you spot our students? 💚🩶 There they are, looking great in our music shirts, adding their voices to this incredible celebration!

It was wonderful to see our students joining schools from across WA for this spectacular celebration of music, singing and community.

We are so proud of our choir students. What an experience to be part of! ⭐

👩‍🏫 Learning Journey 🏫

A reminder to all families that Thursday 20th August from 5-7pm is our Learning Journey. This is a great opportunity for your child to lead you through their room to give you a greater understanding of what happens in their classroom.

This is not the time for a parent/teacher meeting rather an opportunity for your child to share their classroom with you.

A coffee van will be on site with complimentary coffee, tea and hot chocolate available to our families.

Recently, Cobb competed in the Roebourne Rodeo and took home the title of All Round Junior Cowboy! 🤠🏆

🏆 WE DID IT AGAIN! 🏆

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Bindoon Primary School is once again a winner of the 2026 Premier’s Reading Challenge! 📚🎉

For the second year running, we have taken out the 36–200 students division! 🥳

This morning, Ms Ward and Mrs Coles travelled to Parliament House to receive the award on behalf of our school. 🏛️🏆

To our wonderful students - we love seeing how much you enjoy reading, discovering new stories and getting lost in books. Your enthusiasm and love of reading makes us incredibly proud! 📖❤️

A huge thank you to all our amazing staff for taking the time to read with and to our students throughout the challenge. Your encouragement and support make achievements like this possible.

🎉🕺 School Disco is TOMORROW! 💃🎉

The countdown is on! We can’t wait to see everyone on the dance floor at our School Disco tomorrow after school!

🎟️ If your child is attending, please send $5 to the school office in a clearly labelled envelope as soon as possible. Having payments in early helps us finalise catering and make sure everything is ready for a fantastic afternoon.

Your $5 entry includes a sausage sizzle, with all funds raised going towards our Year 6 Graduation.

Get those dancing shoes ready – it’s going to be an afternoon full of music, dancing and fun! 🎶✨

🌏 Bake Sale Update 🌏

Thanks everyone for your support of the solar system bake sale. The year 4/5 class did a fabulous job of decorating the cakes to look like the planets of the solar system. We made $150 to buy something special for the science room 🙂
