CALLIDE ZONE - PORT CURTIS ATHLETICS TRAINING
We are excited to offer the following training opportunities for the Callide Zone Port Curtis athletes. Please see the attached timetable. Our schools and teachers are working together to support these students with their athletics endeavours. It is a great opportunity to go to Mackay and we wish our Port Curtis students all the best.

Congratulations to all the students and community members that received their Sacraments today at Church.
We were blessed to have Bishop Danny join us for a lovely service.
Special mention to Mrs Z and Mrs Giles for preparing the candidates, the Parish community for their beautiful morning tea and decorating of the hall, the ever talented Mrs Corfield and lovely singing choir for sharing their talents.

Celebrating Catholic Education Week at St Joseph’s Biloela.

This week our school community came together to celebrate Catholic Education Week — a time to recognise the heart of who we are and the values that guide us.

Across the week, students, staff, and families joined in activities that highlighted our Catholic Ethos, reminding us of the importance of faith, service, compassion, and connection.

From classroom reflections to whole‑school celebrations, it was a week filled with joy, learning, and togetherness. Moments that brought families into our spaces, strengthened relationships, and showcased the spirit that makes St Joseph’s such a special place.

A heartfelt thank you to our APRE, Ms Z, whose vision, passion, and dedication shaped a truly wonderful week. Her leadership continues to inspire our students and staff, and we are grateful for the way she brings our Catholic identity to life.

Catholic Education Week Celebrations.

Today we celebrated Under 8s Day! 🙌🏼

While the 120 sausages were cooking in the kitchen, the students, kindy kids and siblings enjoyed an amazing morning of activities in our Prep space.

From face painting and bubble blowing to the obstacle course and robotics, it is fair to say everyone had a great time. 🎈🎈

A massive thank you needs to go to Yr 1 Teacher Miss Burgess and Yr 2 Teacher Miss Connors for providing some great activities for the students. 👏🏼🫶🏼

Special mention goes to Ms Z for once again, going above and beyond in coordinating a brilliant morning for all to enjoy. Thank you Ms Z 🥰
