Nurture Early Learning officially takes over Biloela Kindy tomorrow. We wish Bronwyn all the success in the world and we are confident that Nurture Early Learning will continue to embrace the wonderful traditions of our kindy and become a treasured place amongst families.
I would personlly like to thank all of the committees, staff and families that I have worked with over the past 22 years, and to the committees, staff and families who have been a part of the kindy since 1956.
A big thank you to the businesses who have graciously donated to our kindy over the past 67, your support was truly valued.

We had a lovely morning at the Anglican Church Christmas Tree Festival this morning. Children were given the task of finding ten decorations from their checklist and marking them off once found.. Later Thangool State School Prep children joined us at kindy for lunch and play.

Yesterday was an opportunity for the community to revisit Biloela Kindy for the final time. It was great to catch up with past kindy children and parents and share some memories. On display was old photos, children's drawings, committee minutes and financial records, dating back to the 60's. Thank you to everyone who came along to say goodbye to our kindy, it holds a special place in the hearts of our community.

As we wind down to the last three weeks of the school year and prepare to say goodbye to our beloved Biloela Kindy, we can now announce that our beautiful space will get a new lease on life in our community as Nurture Early Learning.
Nurture Early Learning will be owned and operated by Bronwyn Piahana (currently one of our Educators at kindy), so our kindy will be in good hands. Bronwyn will take over the Biloela Kindy space on Wednesday 11th January 2024.

Fire Trucks and VIPs
This week we were lucky to have a visit from Firefighters Ian and Ronan, showing us over their truck, demonstrating the equipment and reminding children of some important safety information. The highlight of course was getting to spray the hose, perfect on a very hot day.
We also had the last visit from our VIPs with the Lutheran Services Moving Moments. It was lovely to reconnect with them after our last visit together at Dangama Mungar. The accordion came out again for some favourite nursery rhymes

Jambin State School
Yesterday we completed our school transition visits with a visit to Jambin State School. We were greeted on arrival by Mrs AJ, the Principal and P-2 teacher. After putting our bags away, Mrs Boon took us on a tour of the school. We visited the 3-4 and 5-6 classrooms\, the staff room and maker space, as well as the office and library. The children attempted the obstacle course before Mrs Boon read the story Macca the Alpacca and then it was time for little lunch. The P-2 children joined us to eat and a play in their junior playground.
