En sintonía con las Jornadas de marzo de 2019 en la Universidad de Lille, e inscribiéndose en un marco de reflexión más amplia sobre las resonancias internacionales de la autora de L'Amant, el coloquio "Marguerite Duras y las Américas", a realizarse en la sede de la Alianza Francesa de Buenos Aires en abril 2021, se propone indagar, con el auspicio de la Société Internationale Marguerite Duras, las relaciones entre la escritora francesa y las Américas.

Along with our beautiful, troubled lead detective, a nest of secrets and an explosive twist at episode's end, there's something delicious too about the initial setup. A "perfect family" of corpses (mother, father, child) – recently disinterred from local cemeteries – is found posed in a sterile display home. That's as much material for a PhD as it is the kick-start for what promises to be an intriguing investigation.
