MEET THE PRESENTER: 🌟 Vov Dylan 🌟 Director / Performer / Teacher, WDE Productions

Vov Dylan is an Australian violinist, recording artist, and educator whose career spans classical, contemporary, and crossover genres. With over 15 albums released, his work encompasses both traditional repertoire and new Australian compositions. His 2022 album Kismet: Vignettes for Violin and Piano was the highest-selling Australian classical album of that year. Most recently, his 2025 release La Vida Apasionada reached the top of the ARIA Classical and Classical Crossover charts.

A graduate with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours), Dylan has maintained a dual career as both a performer and an educator. He teaches multiple exam syllabuses and has mentored HSC and university-level students across both private and public educational settings in Australia Ghana, Japan and Brussels.

Dylan is committed to the advancement and performance of Australian music. Since 2020, he has premiered nearly 50 new works (many of which have been written for him) by Australian composers including Elena Kats-Chernin, Margaret Brandman, Ann Carr-Boyd, and Stuart Greenbaum. He has collaborated with pianists Clemens Leske, Glenn Amer, John Martin, international artists such as pianist Panos Karan and singer Mary-Jess (UK winner of X Factor China). Recently, he headlined to an audience of 15,000 in Taiwan as part of an international concert series with Mary-Jess and his Palace Orchestra.

New studio set up for 2023 - Thornleigh now with a grand piano and the new masterclass and exam venue in Kurnell.

48 hours back in Sydney - and what a few days… these few days have all been about my students

Tuesday:
7.20am: school rehearsal in Normanhurst

9.30am: school rehearsal in Bexley

12pm: student ABRSM diploma exams

2.30pm: School performance at Bexley

4pm: teaching at bexley studio

8pm: home

9pm: helping to work on school project for Avalon

Wednesday

12.00pm School rehearsal at Cherrybrook

5.30pm: school concert at Normanhurst

7.00pm school concert at Cherrybrook…..

I am so proud of all involved….. every single individual and group have worked so hard all year. It is a delight to see them celebrate their achievements in these concerts and exams.
