Sydney Catholic Schools Staff and Parents are invited to join us as we continue the beautiful spirit of Adoration we shared last week, coming together again for an inspiring evening of faith, worship and community as we journey towards Eucharist28.

Date: Wednesday, 9 September 2026

Time: 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Venue: Canterbury Leagues Club

Experience uplifting music led by Fr Rob Galea, an inspiring catechesis from Bishop Richard Umbers, and a personal faith testimony from Family Educator Erin Gillard.

The evening will also include Eucharistic Adoration, opportunities to connect with others, and displays from Catholic organisations and vendors.

Featuring musical performances by Anita Finneran, Koe Evangelista, Jacinta Drummond, and Giuseppe Zangari.

Our Year 3 students took part in their First Communion Reflection Day yesterday — a beautiful day of prayer, learning, and preparation.

They began with Mass celebrated by Father Paul, then returned to their classrooms for a Lectio Divina on the Last Supper, responding through a thoughtful Biblical Micrography. After a recess treat of chips and juice, students visited the Church for the Sacrament of Reconciliation with Father Peter, created a Monstrance craft with Miss Elly, and joined Mrs Pozar for a reflective walk around the school grounds.

The day concluded with a peaceful Grade Rosary prayed in the Church alongside their parents.

It was a truly prayerful and reflective day. We keep our Year 3 students in our prayers as they prepare to receive their First Holy Communion over the next two weekends.

This week we shared our first full Day of Adoration at Regina Coeli, where our school and Parish community spent quiet, prayerful time with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament from morning through to the evening.

Year 3 led us beautifully in a morning Prayer Liturgy, finishing with one of our Regina Coeli favourites, “Lord, I Need You.” Throughout the day, every class visited the Church with reverence and silence — and many students chose to return again during Recess, Lunch, and even into the evening. Our Parish choir filled the Church with stunning music during the night Adoration.

We were also blessed to host the Saint Carlo Acutis Exhibition, learning about Eucharistic Miracles from around the world and deepening our love for the Eucharist. This exhibition will be open over the weekend before and after our Parish Masses.

🤍 Thank you to all the families who joined us for these prayerful moments. We look forward to sharing a Day of Adoration each term as we prepare for the International Eucharistic Congress 2028 Eucharist28.

✨ A number of our families and staff came together on the weekend of the Feast of Regina Coeli — Mary, Queen of Heaven to celebrate the Regina Coeli Parish 80th Anniversary.

It was a beautiful gathering filled with shared memories, heartfelt stories from long‑standing parishioners, and a delicious meal enjoyed in community. 🤍
