Our team put their hazard-spotting skills to the test with Excursion Bingo! 👀

Educators worked through different excursion scenarios, identifying potential hazards, risks and important safety considerations when planning experiences outside of our centre.

And, of course, we had to make it a little competitive! 🏆 The first person to identify all the hazards wins! 🙌

A fun and interactive way for our team to refresh their knowledge, think critically about safety and make sure we’re well prepared for upcoming adventures.

🚌✨ Exciting times ahead… our excursions will be starting very soon! We can’t wait to take our learning beyond the centre and create meaningful experiences for our children in the wider community. 💛

🐍 A Slithery Surprise at Aspire! 🐍

What an exciting day as the children had the opportunity to meet a very special reptile visitor! Our little explorers were fascinated as they watched the snake move, learned about its unique features and even had the chance to gently touch and interact with it.

There were plenty of curious questions, excited faces and lots of bravery as the children experienced this hands-on learning opportunity. 🐍💚

Experiences like this encourage children to build confidence, develop respect and care for living things, and learn about the wonderful animals that share our world. 🌏✨

🌱 Growing Together Through Professional Development 🌱

Today, three of our dedicated team members took the time to step away from the everyday and invest in their professional growth by attending a professional development training session. 📚✨

We believe that great educators are lifelong learners, and ongoing professional development gives our team the opportunity to reflect, share ideas, build new knowledge and bring fresh practices back into our centre.

We’re so proud of our team for continuing to learn, grow and strengthen their practice — because when our educators grow, our children and families benefit too. 💚

📖💛 Supporting Belonging from Day One

We have created a simple and child-friendly “My First Day at Aspire Early Education & Kindergarten – Beveridge” book to help children and families feel comfortable and confident as they begin their journey with us.

The book simplifies the expectations and routines of a child’s first day, using easy-to-understand language and familiar images so children can explore what their day might look like before they even arrive. 🌿

We believe that supporting children’s sense of belonging starts before their first day. By helping children know what to expect, who they will meet and what their environment will look like, we can create a smoother transition and help every child feel safe, secure, included and a valued part of our Aspire community. 💚

A huge congratulations to Tarun, our wonderful 4-Year-Old Pre-Prep Teacher, for taking out Room of the Month for July! 🎉👏

Since joining the Aspire Beveridge team, Tarun has done an incredible job creating a warm, engaging and inspiring learning environment. Her genuine relationships with our children and families shine through every day, and the positive impact she has made on our centre has certainly not gone unnoticed.

Each month, all of our learning environments are in the running for Room of the Month. Rooms are recognised for their commitment to creating engaging learning experiences, maintaining inviting environments, building meaningful relationships, and demonstrating excellence in their daily practice. The winning room receives a well-deserved prize as a thank you for their outstanding efforts. 🍫🏆

🎨✨ Creating, Exploring & Imagining ✨🎨

Our children have been busy using natural loose parts, playdough and open-ended resources to bring their creativity to life!

Experiences like this encourage children to explore their imaginations, strengthen fine motor skills, build hand strength and develop problem-solving skills—all while having fun. By combining natural materials with sensory play, children are free to create in their own unique way, with no right or wrong answers.

It’s always amazing to see the different ideas and conversations that emerge when children are given the freedom to explore through play. 🌿💚

🦒 Learning Through Observation! 🎨

Our children explored the wonderful world of giraffes through a hands-on art experience! Using a realistic giraffe figurine as inspiration, they carefully observed its long neck, unique spots, colours and features before creating their own giraffe artworks.

Experiences like these encourage children to slow down, look closely and develop their observation skills while expressing their creativity. As they painted, they also strengthened their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination and concentration, all while engaging in meaningful conversations about wildlife and the natural world.

At Aspire Beveridge, we love providing real-life resources that spark curiosity and inspire children to learn through play, exploration and creativity. We can’t wait to see each child’s unique giraffe come to life! 🦒💛🎨

💗 Introducing Our Parent Pride Board! 💗

At Aspire Early Education Beveridge, we know that learning doesn’t just happen within our centre—it continues at home, and families play such an important role in every child’s journey.

That’s why our educators have introduced our Parent Pride Board. This simple initiative invites families to share what they’re most proud of in their child’s learning and development. Whether it’s learning to draw, showing kindness, becoming more confident, making new friends, or mastering a new skill, every achievement deserves to be celebrated.

By sharing these proud moments, we gain valuable insight into each child’s growth beyond the classroom, helping us strengthen our partnerships with families and create meaningful learning opportunities that build on children’s strengths and interests.

Our amazing children have been busy transforming ordinary denim into extraordinary works of art! 🎨✨ Each pair of jeans has been lovingly decorated with paint, glitter, handprints and creative designs, making every pair completely one of a kind.

A huge thank you to our wonderful educators for guiding the children through this meaningful experience and helping bring their creativity to life. 💙

These special creations are now being auctioned off, with 100% of proceeds going directly to Jeans for Genes Australia to support life-changing research for children with genetic diseases.

At Aspire Early Education Beveridge, we understand that all emotions are valid. 💚 That’s why we’ve created our new Regulation Station—a calm, welcoming space where children can recognise, explore and regulate their emotions in a safe and supportive environment.

Featuring our Zones of Regulation chart, emotion cards, calming resources, books and a cosy space to relax, this area encourages children to:
✨ Identify how they’re feeling.
✨ Develop emotional awareness and resilience.
✨ Learn self-regulation strategies.
✨ Return to play when they’re ready.

We believe that children thrive when they feel seen, heard and supported. Our Regulation Station is just one of the many ways we nurture children’s social and emotional wellbeing every day.
