Last week Perform Education brought their “Something Special!”performance to our students, celebrating the magic of Book Week!!

Our students were immersed in the Arts through storytelling, singing, dancing and plenty of audience participation. A fun and memorable way to bring stories to life and celebrate the joy of reading! 📚

Year 4 got creative yesterday! 🎨♻️ They had a fantastic time taking part in a reusable art incursion, exploring how everyday materials can be transformed into something creative and meaningful. We loved seeing their ideas come to life!

Bullying? No Way! Week at Bethania School!

This week our school community is coming together for Bullying? No Way! Week. It’s an important opportunity to talk about kindness, respect, inclusion and what we can do to help create a safe and supportive environment for everyone.

As part of the week, we were grateful to welcome members of our local police community, who spent time with our students and shared some important messages about standing up against bullying, speaking up when something doesn’t feel right, and looking out for one another 👮‍♀️💙

A big thank you to our wonderful police officers for joining us and helping our students understand that we all have a role to play in creating a safe and supportive community.

What an amazing day at our Junior Sports Carnival!☀️

We had such a wonderful day celebrating our students, and their achievements. It was fantastic to see so many of our students getting out there, having fun, cheering each other on and, most importantly, giving everything their best!

A very special thank you to all of our parents, families and friends who came along to support our students. Your encouragement from the sidelines helped create such a positive atmosphere throughout the day, and we are so grateful that you took the time to come along.

We would also like to give a huge thank you to our incredible teachers and staff for all the preparation, organisation and hard work that went into making the day such a success. We appreciate you! 💙

Most importantly, we loved seeing our students embrace the day with such enthusiasm! Whether they were racing, jumping, throwing, cheering on their friends or simply giving something new a go, every effort was worth celebrating.

And, of course, a big congratulations to Balun for taking out the win this year! We can't wait to see everyone back next year, ready to give it their all and see which house will claim the trophy!

Year 6 Sharecase 📋🌏 | Last week our Year 6 students welcomed parents and friends into the classroom to share their learning from this term.

Families explored students' work and took part in activities inspired by the students' immigration entry event, where they experienced some of the challenges and processes faced by migrants. It was wonderful to see students confidently sharing their learning and reflecting on their experiences together.

Year 1 Sharecase 🐾 | Our Year 1 students were excited to welcome parents and friends into the classroom for their Learning Sharecase last week.

This term, they have been learning about animals, their environments, and what they need to survive and thrive. Families joined in by helping students research their chosen animal, while students proudly showcased their habitat dioramas and shared their knowledge and discoveries from the term.

Our Student Leaders, Elyse, Michelle and Eden attended yesterday's Logan City Council meeting with Deputy Principal, Justin Kennedy, and gave the Welcome to Country and Acknowledgment of Country. Thank you to Councillor, Tony Hall for giving our students this opportunity. They showed great maturity, confidence and respect and we are very proud of them. Great work, girls!

Senior Athletics Carnival 2026 🏃‍➡️

What an amazing day we had at our Senior Athletics Carnival! It was fantastic to see our students giving everything a go, encouraging one another, and showing plenty of house spirit throughout the day. Whether they were competing in an event or cheering on their friends from the sidelines, everyone played a part in making the carnival such a great success.

A huge congratulations to all students for their effort, sportsmanship, and willingness to get involved. We loved seeing so many students step outside their comfort zones, support their teammates, and celebrate each other's achievements. Huge thank you also to our Media Captains, Hasrat G and Aurora E for taking most of these brilliant photos. Well done, girls! 👏🏻
