We'll be supporting the guest at Transit Soup Kitchen and Food Support on:
Thursday March 26 - 1 PM to 3:30 PM
Monday 30 March - 5 PM to 7 PM
If you want to drop in and have a chat with a counsellor feel free to come on down
We’re excited to welcome a new support service to Transit this week.
Samuel from the Australian Trauma Education Centre (ATEC) will be joining us on Thursday afternoon, offering counselling support for our guests.
Many people in our community are carrying heavy stories and difficult experiences, and having access to compassionate, professional support can make a real difference. Samuel will be offering a free initial consultation, with community rates available for any follow-up sessions.
This is another step for Beyond the Meal, creating opportunities for people to access the support they need in a place where they already feel safe and welcome.
We’re so grateful to Samuel and the team at ATEC for partnering with us in caring for our community.
