Future Proof Education

Getting ready to leave school? Overwhelmed by the challenges of paying tax, setting up bank accounts and managing money? Three Beaconhills College alumni have come the rescue with a new company called Future Proof Education. Sam Mizzi, Lucas Neilsen and Thanesh Pannirselvam (Class of 2016, pictured) are helping young people understand and manage their finances and prepare for key life events. Students can catch their free talk tomorrow afternoon at the Berwick Campus Junior School from 4-5pm as part of the College Alumni Lecture Season.

Future Proof Education’s five top tips for school leavers:
1. Educate yourself on the risks of credit cards and alternative payment methods
2. Make sure you complete a tax return –and include deductibles that can save you thousands in taxes
3. Explore the huge variety of government services and concessions for students and youth
4. Structure your banking correctly, with a high interest savings account and multiple accounts for spending
5. Educate yourself on financial management. Ensure you prepare for the future with effective long-term saving strategies.

We are happy to announce that we have finished a new seminar for Beaconhills Berwick!

We really appreciate everyone who attended being engaged and providing us with great feedback - which we are using to make the sessions better and better every time.

We have more sessions upcoming at other campuses, and another seminar at the Berwick Alumni evening on July 31st.
