This was the mantra as our Grade 6 students headed off to camp this week
Creating experiences and memories with a mix of fun and inspiration, we are so proud of our students - they were team focused, showed leadership, resilience and confidence.

Thank you to our staff who attended camp and made it such a positive and memorable experience for our students.

Today our Grade One students participated in National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS), held annually by the Aust Library and Information Association (ALIA).

Every year a picture book, written and illustrated by an Australian author and illustrator, is read simultaneously in libraries, schools, pre-schools, bookshops and many other places around the country.

This year's book is Luna Roo the kangaroo baller: Rookie captain Luna Roo leaves nothing on the pitch as she leads FC Outback in a thrilling face-off against Bush United.

Written by football veterans Adam Jackson and Adrian Lloyd, Luna Roo captures all the intense excitement of the game, with a heartwarming message that courage and determination are a winning combination.

At the Catholic Education Week mass in Bairnsdale this week, Georgia V received the Sr Mildred rsj and Sr Marcella rsj Catholic Education Award, which is named after the first two Josephite sisters to take up leading and teaching positions in the Diocese of Sale and recognises students who exemplify the Christian virtue of hope in their school communities.

In celebration of Miss Tiv’s 500th (plus 1) game of netball, today we held a staff versus students match at lunchtime.
Lots of great sportsmanship and competitive spirit that finished with a win to the staff. Better luck next time kids 😊
