RULES FOR USING THIS PAGE
This is the online community for Berry Public School in the NSW Department of Education & Communities. We'll try to answer your questions within a few hours of receiving them, from 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday. We are unable to monitor or respond to comments made on the weekend, but will be back online Monday. General Information
The Berry Public School community has a culture of care, respect and enrichment which we would like to translate into our online community. We welcome questions and comments from everyone, and ask that you observe the "dinner party" rules of conversation:
by all means have your opinion- it doesn't have to be the same as anyone elses, but no swearing, bullying or criticism of other individuals please. And as with a dinner party, if you are blatantly advertising your own commercial business, we'll all get very bored, very quickly and have to show you the door.

Edit: One of our outstanding CURRENT students, Mila is also in this production! 😍🫶🏻 Wishing you all the best for the performances! You are going to do amazing!!!

✨WE • ARE • LEARNING ✨

Stage 3 students enjoyed a fantastic middle session today during our Asia Expo, proudly showcasing all the hard work they’ve put into their Asian Country Studies.

The rest of the school had the opportunity to view their impressive projects, and everyone was inspired by the high standard of research and presentation.

🎉Congratulations🎉 to all Year 5 and 6 students for their dedication and creativity! 🎨🖌️

Your masterpieces are truly something to be proud of! 👏🏻

This term, Stage 3 have been busy completing their Country Study Assignments, with Year 5 exploring Fiji!

We are so lucky to have a long-standing relationship with the CWA Hall, who kindly judge our students’ models each year.

Thank you to the wonderful CWA ladies for providing us with a delicious morning tea and making our morning so special. 🎂🧁

All students did an absolutely brilliant job and should be very proud of their efforts. 👏🏻

🎉Congratulations🎉 to our top 5 winners Eden, Ruby K, James, Ruby H, Stella and Olivia. 🥰🩷

On Monday, our students that are attending Project Platypus were lucky enough to welcome Nikki Bodel, Principal of the Illawarra Environmental Education Centre, for a special visit. 🥰

We learnt all about the threats facing platypus populations and, most importantly, how we can all play a part in protecting these incredible Australian animals. 🌿💧

We are so lucky to be part of this wonderful citizen science opportunity and to be learning how we can make a difference in protecting our local environment. 🌳💚
