WOOSHC do not pick up kindy children from their classroom from term 3, please remind children if it is their WOOSHC day to come to us, and remind them if they are unsure to come and check with WOOSHC before leaving school. If you are booking in casually please let the class teacher know to remind your child to come to WOOSHC, we also have keyrings or wrist bands for sale you can use for days they come.

I have some sad news, for our WOOSHC team -

Tamara will be bidding farewell to our permanent leadership team as she moves to embark on a new journey as a teacher, as she is approaching the final days of her degree and will be out teaching before the end of the year. Tamara has been an integral part of our team for four and half years, Tamara’s last day will be 13th August with us.

She has been a great support and amazing Team Leader here at WOOSHC with all of the kids and staff that she has built such great relationships with and we wish her nothing but the best in her teaching career and hope she will be back for occasional shifts with WOOSHC.

We have truly enjoyed having her as part of our team and thank her for all the memories and we are so proud of how much Tamara has grown within the WOOSHC team and we will miss her being a permanent and inspirational part of WOOSHC.

If you would like to wish her the best, please drop in and tell her or wish her the best over the next few weeks, before she finishes with WOOSHC, Thurs 13th Aug afternoon will be her last shift

To every OOSH Educator, this is your moment. Your creativity, care, dedication and commitment do not go unnoticed. You are the people who create safe spaces, allow children to play, make connections and support children’s wellbeing making their out of school time count!

This is a Day to Celebrate OOSH sevices especially our educators who consistently go above and beyond, often without receiving the recognition they truly deserve.

While facilities, programs, and resources matter, it is our educators, the people behind the work, who make the greatest difference.They bring a service to life create great atmospheres for children.
Valuing Every OOSH Educator. Every Day.

This year’s theme recognises that appreciation should not be confined to a single day. OOSH educators deserve to be valued, respected, and recognised for the vital role they play in children’s lives and communities.
