Iconic Jiu Jitsu We offer exceptional Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for adults and kids in a clean, safe, fun, friendly and exciting environment.

We are a women, Veteran and First Responders friendly academy. Membership options including special family rates available. Welcome to Iconic Jiu Jitsu, Central Coast. We offer Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for kids and adults and also Women's Only Self Defence Classes as well as striking and folkstyle wrestling classes in a friendly, family-oriented and safe environment. Our head coach Grant Bradshaw, is a Royce Gracie Black Belt trained by Luke Beston, one of Australia's most experienced Gracie Jiu Jitsu practitioners. Grant is a professional PE teacher with over 20 years experience in martial arts, and more than 21 years of teaching experience.

We've been advised that the flooring has been delayed, so we wonโ€™t be reopening on Wednesday 7 October as expected.

Weโ€™re hoping to be back on Thursday 8 October, but weโ€™ll confirm as soon as we have a firm date.

Grant and I have thoroughly enjoyed our little break while the new flooring has been going in. But we canโ€™t wait to get back to our awesome people at Iconic. ๐Ÿ’œ

As usual, give us a bit of sun and time to relax, and our minds go into overdrive. Weโ€™ve been dreaming up some exciting new classes and opportunities for our members, the wider Jiu Jitsu community, and people who havenโ€™t stepped on the mats yet.

Weโ€™re keeping the details under wraps for now, but thereโ€™s plenty to look forward to.

Because people donโ€™t usually show everyone the worst of their behaviour first. Sometimes they test the waters. A degrading comment. An unwanted touch. They see who laughs, who looks away and who tells them to stop.

None of those things needs to become something worse to matter. But speaking up early can make it clear that a boundary wonโ€™t be ignored.

We canโ€™t claim that Jiu Jitsu makes us good people. That part is a choice we have to keep making.

At Iconic, we want people who know their own strength and care how they use it. People who respect a boundary without being asked twice. People who will speak up when a mate crosses the line.

The ones who make room for a new person. Who help each other figure things out. Who make the hard rounds worthwhile and still find something to laugh about afterwards.

This was our room on the last night before our short break, and we couldnโ€™t be prouder of the people who fill it.

Weโ€™re having epoxy flooring installed in reception and around our existing mats. Classes return Wednesday 7 October, starting with teens at 5pm.
