Flash back … our annual Road Safety Week is so often recalled by the children and requested to be repeated (almost every week!).

Cottage Kids Community Preschool educators attend training and utilize resources from Kids and Traffic to guide us with the most current research and approach.

We also partner with Little Blue Dinosaur and our families to instill road safety messages with your children right from early childhood, ensuring we work together to keep them as safe as we possibly can!

We made our own set of clap sticks!

Step 1 - go for a walk in nature
Step 2 - gather sticks
Step 3 - saw them to length
(This part is hard work, but with the right support we did it! And we felt such success!)
Step 4 - sand the rough edges smooth
Step 5 - make music!!
