💜 Stand with Atoshi – Let’s Walk This Journey Together 💜

Dear Everyone,

This message comes from the Bangladeshi Students' Association (BSA) Curtin, standing in solidarity and support for one of our beloved community members, proud Curtin graduate Atoshi.

Our inspiring Alumna from the Architecture Department of Curtin, Atoshi, has recently been diagnosed with Extraskeletal Ewing Sarcoma (EES)—a rare, aggressive, and terminal cancer that has already spread to her abdominal wall, liver, and lungs. Despite this heartbreaking diagnosis, Atoshi has shown remarkable strength, courage, and faith.

One of her heartfelt wishes is to visit Bangladesh while she is still strong enough, and we are launching an urgent fundraiser to help make this possible and support her ongoing medical care. Time is of the essence, and we are calling on our community to come together and raise the necessary funds as quickly as possible.

On 23 June, Atoshi underwent emergency surgery to remove a tumour from her small intestine. Since then, her days have been consumed by countless hospital visits, undergoing an overwhelming number of tests and scans—CT, PET, histopathology reports—and preparing for an intensive round of palliative chemotherapy. Her doctors have started her on a 14-cycle VDC/IE chemotherapy protocol to help slow the progression of this aggressive disease and provide her with the best possible quality of life.

In the midst of this unimaginable challenge, Atoshi achieved something extraordinary—she submitted her final thesis and completed her Master’s degree in Architecture, fulfilling her mother’s lifelong dream. Her determination, resilience, and unwavering spirit have left all of us deeply inspired.

Now, as she battles for her life, she shouldn’t have to fight alone. Beyond the emotional toll, the financial strain of cancer is immense—medical bills, specialised scans, medications, and daily support services continue to mount.

That’s why BSA Curtin is helping in organising this fundraiser—to stand by Atoshi in her time of need, to help ease the financial burden, and allow her to focus on what truly matters: her health, her loved ones, and the moments of peace and strength she deserves.

Every single contribution—whether it’s $5 or $500—can make a meaningful difference. Your prayers, your shares, your generosity can all come together to offer Atoshi the support she needs.

🙏 Please donate if you can.
🙏 Please share this post.
🙏 Please keep Atoshi in your prayers.
