Queer Department, Curtin Student Guild Helping to make Curtin University a queer-friendly place by providing a voice for all LGBTQIA+ stude

Located in the Equity Space of the Curtin Guild complex (Building 106F), the Q***r Department strives to make resources available for students of diverse sexuality and gender. We are open to all Curtin students who are in the LGBTQIA+ community, including allies and people who are questioning. Don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions or problems, or just want to make some friends!

A study by a trans researcher is seeking trans and gender diverse participants aged 18 years and over to understand what contexts promote gender affirming experiences: “Creating Safer Spaces for Trans and Gender Diverse People: What Contexts Enable Experiences that Affirm Your Gender?”

To participate in the study you need to:

- reside in Australia
- be 18 years or older
- identify as transgender or gender diverse
- have had a recent experience of feeling safe in your gender, including experiences such as gender euphoria.

The study should take up to 20 minutes of your time.
