Meet us at the museum on 23 August to explore a new planet with your own rover as part of the Biggest Science Lab ever!

🚀 Roadside assistance is hard to come by when you're exploring Mars, so choosing the right rover code is important.

We are celebrating National Science Week with our Biggest Science Lab Ever! Joining us is Curtin STEM Outreach, who will be handing mission control over to you.

Analyse three pieces of rover code and decide which program will collect rock samples and which will navigate a set path across the planet's surface.

Drop in on Sunday 23 August as we take over Level 3 with tonnes of hands-on science experiences designed to test your ideas and challenge your thinking!

🚀 Rockets. Science. Teamwork. Community.

Our first-ever regional BinarX School Holiday Program has wrapped up in Kalgoorlie, and what a week it was!

Twenty Year 5–6 students spent six days building electronics, designing experiments, constructing rockets, analysing flight data and learning what it's really like to work on a STEM project.
The week finished with a community rocket launch at Kalgoorlie International Speedway, where students launched rockets carrying experiments they had designed themselves. With almost 200 people turning out to support them, it was a pretty special way to end the program.

A huge thank you to our students, families, Curtin University Kalgoorlie, WA School of Mines, Kalgoorlie International Speedway, Resources Technology and Critical Minerals Trailblazer, and the Fogarty Foundation for helping make the program possible. ❤️
