We celebrated our Jules Chevalier Leadership Handover Ceremony today, marking the transition of leadership from our current Year 12 leaders to the 2027 Year 12 Leadership Team.

The students received their badges and recited a prayer of leadership before formally exchanging places with the 2026 leaders.

Our 2026 leaders have fulfilled their roles with dedication, authenticity and the OLSH Heart spirit. We thank them for their significant contribution to College life and for the example they have set for others. We warmly congratulate our 2027 leaders and wish them every success as they begin this important journey of service and leadership.

This week, we welcomed Member for Bentleigh, Nick Staikos MP, to present the Lorraine Francis Community Award to Year 12 student Tianna.

Tianna has demonstrated outstanding leadership throughout her time at OLSH, including as College Vice Captain and Dance Captain for this year’s musical production. She has also played an important role in leading student initiatives that have supported our social outreach and brought our College community together.

Outside the College, Tianna generously volunteers in her local community, using her time, energy and talents to support others. She is also a wonderful mentor and encouraging presence for younger students, running workshops to support those auditioning for productions and showing genuine compassion for those in need.

Tianna embodies the spirit of community, leadership and service that this award recognises. Congratulations Tianna!
