🥋❄️ 2026 ALL STARS WINTER KARATE TOURNAMENT ❄️🥋
What an amazing and courageous effort by all of our students who competed today at the All Stars Winter Karate Tournament! 👏
Stepping onto the floor and putting your training to the test takes courage. Whether you won, placed, or didn’t come away with a medal, every student who competed should be incredibly proud.
Tournament experience is a fantastic opportunity to put your training into practice, perform under pressure and learn from the experience. Winning or placing is a fantastic achievement, but having the courage to compete and test your skills is an achievement in itself and an experience that will certainly help push each student’s progress forward. 💪🥋
🏆 Congratulations to all of our students who placed in their divisions, and a huge well done to every competitor who stepped up and gave it their best!
A big thank you to all of the families, instructors, officials and supporters who helped make today possible.

We have received the very sad news of the passing of Maurice Garnier, and we join the martial arts community in mourning his loss.
Maurice was an 8th Dan in Zen Do Kai, a highly respected weapons master and a valued mentor to many. He was an honest and genuine person who worked tirelessly to develop his knowledge and generously shared it with anyone willing to listen and learn.
His knowledge, encouragement, friendship and contribution to martial arts will never be forgotten.
We extend our deepest condolences to Maurice’s wife, family, friends, students and everyone whose life he touched.
Rest in peace, Maurice. Your legacy will live on through the many people you taught and inspired. 🥋🙏

🥋 Congratulations to all of our students who achieved their next rank at today’s Holiday Program Catch-Up Grading!
A new belt is recognition of consistent training, continuous improvement, and the knowledge developed through dedication over time. It reflects the effort put in class after class, week after week, and for many students, over many months and years.
Congratulations on your well-deserved achievement

What an incredible week it’s been at our School Holiday Program and Kickboxing Camp! 🥋🥊
Our students have packed so much into just a few days, building skills, confidence and friendships while having an absolute blast.
From Muay Thai fundamentals, technique, pad work, sparring drills and takedowns, to karate training covering kata, self-defence basics and weapons awareness, every session has been full of learning and action.
We’ve also been learning important life skills through fun discussions about anti-bullying, how to stay calm, make good choices, use our words to solve problems, and build confidence and respect both on and off the mats.
Of course, it hasn’t all been serious! There have been ninja obstacle courses, archery, Nerf wars, relay races, team challenges, partner drills, skill-based games, movie time and plenty of laughs along the way.
We’re now looking forward to finishing the week with an exciting final day on Friday, including our Catch-Up & Holiday Program Grading at 2:00 pm for eligible students. We can’t wait to see everyone finish the week strong and showcase everything they’ve been working on.
Great work to all of our students for bringing such fantastic energy and enthusiasm every day. It’s been amazing watching everyone step outside their comfort zone, support one another, and create memories that will last well beyond the holidays.
