Another awesome Victorian State Training Day today! 👊

It was fantastic to see members from all of our club locations come together and work towards shared goals: improvement, grading preparation, increasing knowledge, sharing experiences, and most importantly, having fun and smiling along the way! 😃

One of the highlights of the day was having Dr Jacob on hand to support our members, parents, and instructors. Not only did he provide chiropractic adjustments throughout the day, but he also shared valuable education on injury prevention, recovery, mobility, and overall wellbeing.

A big thank you to everyone who attended, helped, and contributed to making the day such a positive and productive experience. We look forward to seeing everyone continue their progress and put today’s lessons into action in the dojo!

It was great to see some entertaining and respectful fights showcasing the improvement, confidence and skills our students have developed over the past 6 months since our last competition.

Fight Competition competition this Saturday 23rd May 👊🥊

Doors open 11:30am with fights beginning from 12pm. Spectators are free and we’d love to have our students, families and supporters there supporting the team.

High level knowledge, technical detail and a great atmosphere on the mats tonight as guest instructor Matt Ball, Head Coach of SMAC Gym, took our Muay Thai sessions. 👊🥊

The session explored fundamentals, defensive reactions and counters from kicks, trip and sweep set ups, sparring concepts and more. Beyond the physical side of training, there were also great discussions around fighter psychology, strategy, mindset, and understanding the context of training.
