MUSIC ASSEMBLY 🎶🌟

Last Friday we were blessed by our student orchestras and senior choir in our annual music assembly! Students were able to showcase their talents and gifts through various songs curated by Mr Partington and our incredible team of music tutors! We thoroughly enjoyed seeing each of our students shine. 🌟

Thank you to all parents who came along to show support for our students and for your ongoing support in their musical journeys!

A special congratulations is extended to Year 5 student Hayley, who received the Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB) Ignite Award as recognition of her engagement within the schools performing arts program and her growth as a musician! Well done Hayley! 🔥

FATHER'S DAY AT BCS 💙🌟

MEASURING UP IN PRE-PRIMARY ✨

This term, Pre-Primary has been busy exploring the world of measurement! We’ve been on scavenger hunts around our classroom, measuring all sorts of objects and comparing their sizes.

We’ve even measured each other… and yes, even the teacher! 😂📐
It’s been a hands-on, fun-filled way to learn that measurement is all around us!

THURSDAY IN SCIENCE WEEK 🧬

Miss Gidman introduced our Kindergarten and Pre-Primary students to sun painting at lunchtime today!

Students were able to see how she created her own artwork using tumeric, bicarb soda and water!

YEAR 1 AND YEAR 6 ART BUDDIES 🎨

Last term, our Year 6 students partnered up with our Year 1 students in Visual Art to help them with finishing off some of their art projects! Our Year 1 students were in the process of completing their 'Blue Planet' and 'Summer Smiles' artworks when their Year 6 buddies joined them for the term and they worked on them together. The Year 6's helped our Year 1's to answer questions and write more about their artworks!

Mrs Pearce, Mrs Le Count, Miss Gidman and Miss Pattinson have shared that it was an incredibly rewarding experience to see our oldest students guiding their younger peers!
