Congratulations to the Jenny's ELC Epsom team, winners of our 2026 Team Event Spirit Award. Every room gets involved when a calendar-of-events day rolls around, dress-ups, decorations, the lot, and this year's Dr. Seuss Week Door Challenge turned the entire centre into something genuinely magical for the children.

A Morning to Celebrate Our Dads 💙

This week, we celebrated Father’s Day at Jenny’s ELC Bendigo Hospital with a special breakfast for our dads and special people. It was a beautiful morning filled with good food, smiles and plenty of opportunities to connect.

We love creating these moments for families to come together, strengthen relationships and be part of their child’s early learning journey. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the morning so special.

A little question can make a big difference. 💛⭐️🌼

Today at Maiden Gully, we took time to pause, connect and check in with one another for R U OK? Day.

For children, learning about feelings, connection and looking out for others starts from the very beginning. Through simple conversations, play and caring relationships, we’re helping children understand their emotions, recognise how others might be feeling and learn that it’s always okay to ask, “Are you OK?”

Because sometimes, the most important thing we can do is simply stop and listen.

A Special Morning with Dad

A big thank you to all the Dads and special people who joined us at Maiden Gully today for a special BBQ breakfast. It was such a beautiful morning filled with connection, conversation and plenty of smiles.

These moments are so important to our children. They strengthen family relationships, help children feel a sense of belonging, and remind them that the people they love are always welcome in their early learning community. 💚

Celebrating the people behind the magic

Today, we are so grateful to celebrate our incredible educators — the people who show up every day with patience, kindness, creativity and a whole lot of heart.

Our educators do so much more than care for children. They listen to the stories, celebrate the milestones, wipe the tears, answer the endless questions, encourage the brave attempts and create the moments that children will remember long after they leave our care.

Thank you for the difference you make every single day. For the laughter, the messy hands, the big feelings, the small victories and all the moments in between. We are so incredibly lucky to have you as part of Jenny’s ELC family.

A special visit from a past Jenny’s family 🧸

One of our past students, Ollie, and his Dad popped in over the weekend to help fix up our cottage garden cubby and give it a little face lift 🏠

While Ollie was here, he said hello to the chickens and enjoyed some time playing in the mud kitchen. It was lovely to see how much he enjoyed being back and to know that he and his family still feel part of the Jenny’s Family 🐓💚

A huge thank you to Language Tree Australia for visiting Jenny’s ELC Maiden Gully and bringing books, Auslan and plenty of fun to our learning spaces. 📖🐠💫

Our children had the chance to explore stories in a whole new way — through signing, movement, games and play — while discovering how language can open up our imaginations and help us connect with others.

We loved seeing our educators and children getting involved and making Book Week such a memorable experience.

Thank you, Language Tree Australia, for sharing your love of language and helping us celebrate the magic of books together!
