Free Tool to Help Plan for an Emergency
As we come into the summer season when natural disasters can be more likely, it’s important to be prepared.
The University of Sydney have created a Person-Centred Emergency Preparedness tool to help people with disability create an emergency plan to suit their specific needs.
In any emergency, always follow the local advice for your State or Territory.

Try Before You Ride
The City of Greater Bendigo and V/Line invites you to their Try Before You Ride events!
Try Before You Ride events help people of all abilities feel more confident when using the public transport system. This includes people with accessibility requirements, parents with children and seniors.
Attendees will be able to practice getting on and off trains, trams, buses and taxis safely or speak with public transport staff and learn about accessibility features.
Travellers Aid will also be in attendance to provide assistance during the event.
When: 10.00am until 1.00pm
