Week 9, our students have nearly finished designing the passport. What a wonderful job they have done designing the stamps that all our future students get on completion of their courses.
The passports will be printed and ready for the showcase and we can't wait to hand them out to all our current students next week.
Come along to the showcase event to celebrate their achievements and check out all the different projects.

Introducing our latest addition to the programs Infento - World's first real constructible rides
Why did we bring this?
Students learn science, maths and other concepts through their learning journeys and this kit allows us to bring it together in its practical use.
Through this kit students will apply their learning and explore:
π¬ Science (Forces & Motion)
How pushes, pulls, friction and gravity affect movement
π Mathematics (Measurement & Geometry)
Using real-world measuring, angles, shapes and spatial thinking
π οΈ Design & Technologies
Designing, building, testing and improving real solutions
π§ Critical Thinking & Problem Solving
Testing ideas, fixing problems and improving designs like real engineers
π€ Collaboration
Working in teams to build, solve and succeed together
For kids aged 10 to 14, we are bringing this program (for the very first time) during the school holidays.

Our third focus at Codergarten, alongside applied learning and semantic waves, is co-design and collaboration. Our collaborators are very close to our hearts, because itβs where passionate individuals and local businesses place their trust in us β believing in some of our bold (and sometimes crazy!) ideas and helping turn them into meaningful learning experiences for kids.
Our co-designers are incredibly special to us. They share our belief that learning should be hands-on, engaging and connected to the real world. They generously bring their skills, industry knowledge and creativity to help shape courses that inspire curiosity and confidence in young learners.
Together with our collaborators and co-designers, we create learning experiences that are authentic, relevant and grounded in real-world expertise β giving kids the opportunity to explore industries, think creatively and learn in ways that feel exciting and purposeful.
As Term 2 begins tomorrow, we take a moment to sincerely thank our amazing co-designers Ginny Jeong and Yagnesh Vora, and our collaborators Earlybird Espresso team and Favourite Flavours. Your passion, trust and willingness to experiment with new ideas is what makes Codergarten possible. Weβre excited for another term of creativity, curiosity and collaboration ahead. π

How do we design our courses?
So, the way a lesson is structured can make all the difference. Our courses use Semantic Waves - starting with something fun and familiar, building up to the big idea, then landing back with a hands-on challenge your child owns. Up, down, up, down. Like a wave. The result? Kids who don't just follow instructions - it make them think.
