Bendigo Toastmasters made a splash in the recent Area Contest at Sunbury.
We might only have a small club but it's a dynamic group and our club was there in full support. Congratulations to the other club members who organised the day including the chief judge Ronald Rafter and contest chairs Victoria Bonsey and Joanne Philippe.
An entertaining day and great tucker.
They were 4 contests on the day: humorous speech, international speech, evaluation contest and table topics contest.
From our club Julie green, 3rd place in the Table Topics contest. Carolyn Stanford - 2nd place in the Evaluation Contest. Brian Rice, 1st place in the Humorous Speech Contest, Geoffrey Graham, 2nd place in the Humorous Speech Contest, and Geoffrey Graham, 1st place in the International Speech Contest.
The day was ably supported by our members including President James Harper, Treasurer Andrew Wallace and Secretary Susan Denny.

In today's world with so much happening all around us it's often hard to focus on what we need to do.
Remember to take time out for yourself . It is only when you deal in self care that you can serve others in the best Possible way
