We're kicking off the week in our PJs! 💤
This week (20th–24th July), we invite all Journey Epsom families to come dressed in their favourite pyjamas to help raise awareness for children in foster care.
By wearing our PJs, we're showing our support and helping start important conversations about the need for safe, loving homes for children in our community.
We can't wait to see everyone's cosy outfits this week! ✨

Today, our Journey Epsom community came together to share in a truly special and meaningful experience as we gathered in a yarning circle to participate in a smoking ceremony.
We were honoured to welcome Uncle Jason and Aunty Sandy from BDAC, who generously shared their culture, knowledge, and traditions with our children and educators.
Aunty Sandy welcomed us to Country and captivated everyone with a beautiful Dreaming story, encouraging our children to listen, wonder, and connect with the rich history and culture of First Nations peoples.
As the smoking ceremony began, each child had the opportunity to walk through the cleansing smoke while Uncle Jason played the didgeridoo, creating a calm, respectful, and memorable atmosphere. It was wonderful to see our children engage with such curiosity and respect throughout the experience.
At Journey Epsom, we value opportunities that help children develop a deeper understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, fostering respect, inclusion, and a sense of belonging for all.
A heartfelt thank you to Uncle Jason and Aunty Sandy for sharing this beautiful experience with our community. We feel incredibly grateful to have been part of such a meaningful morning.

What a wonderful week we had celebrating NAIDOC week through story telling, art, music and cultural learning experiences!
Our Kinder Hub had a blast making Damper and learning about this traditional bread through a fun hands-on cooking experience.
