🎨🧶 Creative minds at work! 🧶🎨

Our creative minds were busy exploring paddle pop sticks and colourful wool to create their own unique masterpieces!

The children carefully wrapped and threaded the soft wool around the paddle pop sticks, demonstrating concentration, patience and persistence as they worked to attach the wool and bring their creations to life.

They proudly admired their finished masterpieces and loved seeing their artwork become part of our new ceiling decoration!

We love watching creativity, imagination and learning come together through hands-on experiences.

🔤✨ Learning our letters through play! ✨🔤

Our Kindergarten children have been busy recognising and exploring letters of the alphabet and discovering that letters are all around us!

Educators are incorporating letter recognition into the children’s everyday learning through a variety of engaging experiences, including art, literacy, mark making, games and play-based activities.

Through these experiences, children are building their confidence in identifying letters, making connections between letters and sounds, and developing the early literacy skills that support their journey towards reading and writing.

We love seeing the children recognise letters in their environment, proudly identify the letters in their names and share their growing knowledge with their friends and educators.

Learning letters becomes even more meaningful when children can explore them through hands-on, creative and purposeful experiences!

🌿💤 Sleeping under the open sky! 💚

There’s something special about enjoying a peaceful sleep outdoors! Our little ones have been loving the opportunity to rest outside, surrounded by fresh air and the sounds of nature. 🌳☀️

Outdoor sleep can provide a calm and relaxing environment for children, while also offering opportunities to connect with nature. Fresh air, natural surroundings and the gentle sounds of the outdoors can help create a soothing atmosphere that supports children to relax and rest.

We love creating flexible environments that respond to each child’s individual needs and comfort, and for some of our children, outdoor sleep is a wonderful way to enjoy their rest time.

When another child is away on holidays or unwell, it opens up a space for someone else to pick up an extra day of care and learning! 🎨🧸

Please note:
Casual bookings are not permanent, they are one-off spots for that specific day only.
They are a great way to manage those extra-busy weeks or appointments.

The easiest way to see what's available and secure a spot is through the XAP Smile App. Simply log in, head to the Bookings tab, and select "Casual Booking" to see the green available days. 📱

🌿☀️ What a day! ☀️🌿

The weather was absolutely amazing, and we made the most of it with a full lap of the lake! Along the way, we stopped to play, explore, investigate and learn all about the incredible natural environment around us. 🌳🪵🐦

We talked about how we can care for and preserve nature, why it’s important to respect our environment, and how we can use our imaginations and curiosity to turn the world around us into one big adventure. 🌏💚

The children were encouraged to take safe risks, problem-solve, work together and explore their surroundings. And they certainly embraced the opportunity! 😂

If there was a fallen branch, we climbed it, jumped from it, crawled around it or squeezed past it on our way to discover what was next! 🌿🪵

It was wonderful to see so much confidence, independence, creativity and curiosity in action.

Best day ever! 💚🌿☀️

🥕 Prepare nutritious meals while safely catering for allergies and special dietary requirements

💛 Create positive mealtimes that encourage children to explore and enjoy healthy foods
