A big day in the studio with my hands in the indigo vat was the perfect way to spend a Sunday.
This lot isn’t all mine as I had a friend come and play as well.
It’s always a thrill to unwrap the bundles and see what you’ve created.

When I was in Japan in May I bought a leather handle to make furoshiki wraps into little bags . A friends partner is a leather worker and he’s made me a bundle. I’ll be selling them at open studio ,In 3 colours , black ,brown and tan .
The one pictured is made from an old serviette ,from a friend , I dyed last weekend.
I’ll also be selling furoshiki wraps separately with fabric I purchased in Ghana last year , denim and shibori.
I’ll even show you how to wrap gifts with them.
This time in 2 weeks we’ll already have had day 1 of open studios..
Our booklets are now available from the Visitors centre in Bendigo (or from me) so pick one up and start planning which studios you’re hoping to visit.
