🍋 Fresh From Our Garden to You! 🍊

Today, our Kinder B children were excited to harvest the lemons and oranges growing in our Centre garden. After gathering their fresh produce, they carefully arranged baskets in the foyer to share with our families.

There's nothing quite like enjoying the fruits of your labour, and the children were so proud to give back to their community in this special way.

Our Nursery children have been busy playing and sharing lots of smiles along the way. From enjoying time outdoors in the sunshine to cuddles with educators, and mealtime adventures, every moment has been filled with curiosity, connection, and joy.

We love capturing these special snapshots of our little learners as they grow, discover, and thrive each day. 💛

🍿 Children's Ideas Day 🍿

As part of our fortnightly Children's Ideas Day, the children chose to enjoy a movie day complete with warm hot chocolate and popcorn. Snuggled up with their friends, they spent the morning relaxing, sharing laughs, and enjoying a special cinema-style experience together.

Providing opportunities for children to contribute their ideas and make choices about their learning environment helps foster a sense of belonging, independence, and agency.

Today's movie day was the perfect way to celebrate their voices while creating wonderful memories with friends 💜

Today we are recognising Belinda and the wonderful contribution she has made to our Centre over the past two years, whilst working toward her qualification.

Balancing work and study is no small achievement, and Belinda has shown dedication, perseverance, and passion throughout her journey. Her caring nature, willingness to learn, and commitment to supporting children have made her a valued member of our team.

We are so proud of everything Belinda has accomplished and grateful for the positive impact she has on our children, families, and educators each day.

Last week we celebrated an incredible milestone as Nikita marked 5 years with the Journey family.

For the past five years, Nikita has brought dedication, compassion, and positivity to our Centre every day. Her genuine care for children, support for her colleagues, and commitment to creating meaningful learning experiences make her such a valued part of our team.

To celebrate, we made sure Nikita felt the love and shouted her lunch as a small thank you for all that she does.

✨🌼 Baton Twirling in the Garden! 🌼✨

This afternoon the children headed outside with their batons and turned the garden into a space full of movement, creativity, and fun. They practiced their twirls, spins, and marching steps, experimenting with different ways to move their bodies and express themselves.

It was wonderful to see their confidence grow as they tried new skills, encouraged their friends, and celebrated each little success.

Activities like baton twirling help support coordination, rhythm, and gross motor development while also bringing big smiles and lots of laughter💚

🎨 Hands-On Identity Exploration! ✋✨

Our Toddler One learners have been busy exploring their identities, discovering what makes them, them!

Through mirror play, naming body parts, and talking about what they see, the children are building a strong sense of identity and belonging.

Today, we added a splash of creativity! Each child painted their own handprint — a colourful way to explore shapes, patterns, and the uniqueness of their own little hands.

Learning about themselves has never been so fun, messy, and meaningful! 🌟
