Journey Early Learning Bendigo South is where your child’s journey begins... Our rooms open out onto the playground, which encourages indoor and outdoor play.

Journey Early Learning Bendigo South is a warm and welcoming centre where our little explorers feel right at home. With many shared values, the transition to Journey was seamless, with many of the educators continuing on with us. Journey Bendigo South is the ideal place for little adventurers who have a natural sense of curiosity. Our large, centrally located kitchen is not only good for wholesome food preparation, it also encourages interaction with families and children as they come and go. It’s a place where children aged from six weeks to six years of age can make a positive start to a life of learning, development, growth and opportunity.

🫁💨 Learning About Our Lungs! 💨🫁

Today our little scientists in Kinder A explored how our lungs work!

As we experimented, we talked about what happens inside our bodies when we breathe air in, our lungs expand and then become smaller again as we breathe out.

The children were able to see this happening right in front of them with their lung models!

This fun, hands-on experience encouraged lots of questions and conversations while building the children’s understanding of their bodies and how some of our important organs work.

We love seeing our little learners discover just how incredible their bodies are! 💗

🔬✨ Science Week at Journey! ✨🔬

What a wonderful week of curiosity, discovery and experimentation! 🧪🌈

Our children across the Centre have been busy exploring the world around them through a range of fun, hands-on science experiments.

Science Week has been a wonderful opportunity for our children to ask questions, problem-solve and learn that sometimes the best discoveries happen when things don’t go exactly as expected! 🧠🔍

We love seeing our little scientists so engaged, curious and excited to learn!

🐘 Celebrating World Elephant Day! 🐘

Our little learners had lots of fun last week celebrating World Elephant Day through creativity, curiosity and hands-on learning!

The children enjoyed making elephant-inspired crafts, exploring fun facts about these amazing animals and learning about the importance of protecting elephants and their natural habitats. 🌍💚

It was a wonderful opportunity to encourage kindness and respect for wildlife and show how we can care for and protect the amazing animals that share our world... all while letting our imaginations run wild! ✨
