Too often, children’s career aspirations are shaped by stereotypes and the opinions around them, rather than the full range of opportunities available to them.
Our award-winning upper primary program helps broaden horizons, building students’ confidence, self-awareness and future aspirations through hands-on experiences with local businesses and real-world learning throughout the year.
Aligned to the Victorian Curriculum and the Australian Blueprint for Career Development, Passions & Pathways connects learning with future possibilities in meaningful, age-appropriate ways.
Research shows children begin forming career ideas early, and exposure to real workplaces and role models can expand what they believe is possible for their future.
Passions & Pathways
Passions & Pathways connects schools and businesses to raise student career aspirations.
Passions & Pathways is proudly supported by the Victorian Government and City of Greater Bendigo.
A great way for students to combine creativity with real-world learning around sustainability and water conservation. A fantastic opportunity for schools to get involved.
Always great to see opportunities like this through our partnership with Coliban Water, supporting real-world learning and student voice in sustainability.

Imagine a world of possibilities!
Sometimes young people limit themselves before they even start dreaming, and it’s often based on ideas they've absorbed without noticing.
Passions & Pathways helps students explore 𝘢𝘭𝘭 career possibilities, challenge stereotypes, and discover futures they may never have considered.

We’re proud and grateful to acknowledge the continued support of our Passions & Pathways education partners, La Trobe University, Bendigo, Bendigo Tech School, and Bendigo TAFE.
Through these partnerships, our P&P participants explore local tertiary environments and learn how to access a range of career pathway opportunities right on their doorstep, building confidence and broadening their sense of what’s possible beyond school.
We also sincerely thank the Department of Education, Victoria, for their ongoing support.
Together, we’re helping young people connect learning with future pathways.
We’re excited to welcome a few of Passions & Pathways' 2026 industry partners! 🎉
A big thank you to Bendigo Law Courts, Coliban Water and GOLD Central Victoria for joining our network of local organisations supporting young people.
By working with Passions & Pathways, these businesses give students valuable insight into workplaces and industries, helping them connect their interests and strengths with future possibilities.
We’re grateful for their support. Many more to come! 🌟
Feedback like this shows why it is important for students to explore their interests and understand how skills translate into future study and employment pathways.

Last year, as part of our Business Roadshow day, students visited Bendigo UFS Pharmacies for an engaging behind the scenes tour.
In just 45 minutes, local young people gained insight into the range of jobs within a pharmacy. Experiences like this help students connect learning to real industries right here in Bendigo.
This is just one of the ways we partner with generous local businesses to support the future workforce.
If your organisation can host a 30 to 45 minute school tour to showcase your business and the roles within your industry, we would love to hear from you.
Join the growing list of businesses investing in the next generation.

It means a lot when local businesses step up for young people and future pathways.
Crameri Mitre 10 & CRT shared this feedback after being involved in Passions & Pathways:
“𝘖𝘶𝘳 𝘣𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘯𝘷𝘰𝘭𝘷𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘮. 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘧𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱.”
That’s exactly what this program is about. Connecting students with workplaces, people and opportunities in their local area, while giving businesses a chance to invest in the next generation of local talent.
If you’re a local business curious about getting involved, we’d love to hear from you.
