Now that we're out of the whirlwind that was NEXUS Bendigo Youth Theatre's Beauty and the Beast, I'm taking a moment to congratulate these amazing students and every cast member who was part of it.

It is one of my favourite parts the process of Music Directing (definitely one of my top three, if I'm honest). To get to the performances and essentially be done with my job! Not that it wasn't enjoyable, but I get to pass it over to them and say: "It's yours now. You get to take it and make it magical, while I step back and enjoy from backstage."

I typically only see these guys only once a week, but I got to see them shine in real time for almost two straight weeks as they did something they love and share it with over 3,000 audience members! I count it as one of the biggest blessings of my year.

It has been SUCH an amazing achievement, and I hope each and every one of you are so proud of what you achieved!! You deserved the standing ovations, the rave reviews and the crazy-long applause every night for all the hours of work you put in.

Easily the highlight of my year so far. And now we adjust to real life again😄

What an amazing privilege and honour it was to be involved in NEXUS Bendigo Youth Theatre’s production of ‘The Music Man’ this past weekend and the last, supporting MGK Music Education Students - Ava Cossens, Anna Chambers and Talise Thorpe.

I loved being your Musical Director, electronic orchestra😅 and hairdresser. Seeing you all grow through this journey was such a delight.

Every single cast member shone so brightly and I’m so excited to see where we go with Beauty and the Beast next year!
