What a morning for Tom to complete his first solo! We are so proud to see you take to the sky by yourself. Tom is another person that can attest to the thrill of flying an aircraft solo.

A big congratulations to David Britt who went for his first Solo this morning! This is certainly one flight you will never forget. A beautiful crisp autumn morning prevailed after having to miss yesterday due to the low cloud and rain. David is working hard to complete his RPL/PPL within a limited time frame. His first time taking the controls was on the 30th of March and in under two weeks (with a week break due to Easter) he has taken to the air all by himself. We can't wait to share his next success which won't be too much longer!

A big congratulations to Pastor Tim Happs on his 1st solo at YBDG. He did a very fine job and we are very proud of you! Keep up the great work!

Olga at it again, this time on her second solo. Such a great evening and the weather was perfect just like her landings. Probably one of my favourite photos with such a beautiful sky in the background.

Taken back on the 30 November, Olga took to the skies in our Piper Warrior IJT for her first GA solo. She did a great job and looks as happy as I was.

A huge congratulations to Scott Moller from Echuca on his very first solo. Scott joined us back in early August and despite the lockdowns he remained enthusiastic and persisted. Today he was rewarded and did an amazing job in some quite bumpy conditions. Keep up the great work!
