Every family I work with has a different story.

When this family first reached out, their 17 month old daughter, was waking every one to two hours overnight and relying on breastfeeds to resettle each time.

The whole family was exhausted, and what they were doing just didn’t feel sustainable anymore.

Together, we took a supportive and personalised approach that suited their little ones temperament and their parenting style. Rather than following a one size fits all plan, we worked together to understand why sleep had become so challenging and created a plan that felt achievable and realistic for their family.

And by night four, their little one slept through the night. đź’«

For me one of the most rewarding parts of their review wasn’t just the outcome, it was..

“Maddie gave me the confidence and reassurance I was lacking.”

Because that’s exactly what I hope every family walks away with.

Not just with a little one who sleeps better, but with the confidence, reassurance, and knowledge to continue supporting their little one’s sleep as they grow and their needs change. 💛

WHAT TO EXPECT: 5 MONTHS

Our little ones grow, learn and change so quickly, especially throughout their first year earthside. As they develop, their sleep needs naturally shift too.

To help you navigate this stage, l’ve put together a quick mini guide showing age-appropriate sleep expectations for around 5 months.

✨ SWIPE to learn more.

If you’d like more detailed guidance on age-appropriate routines, including nap timings and durations, my Routine Guides are a great next tool. You can find them via the link in my bio.

đź’› A gentle reminder: Every little one is different and have their own unique sleep needs. These are simply guidelines and may not fit every little one exactly.

If you have a question about your little one’s sleep, feel free to pop it in the comments or send me a message.

Short naps can be one of the most frustrating parts of your little one’s sleep journey.

Especially when you’ve tried adjusting awake windows, changing routines, searching online for answers.. and you’re still left wondering:

“Why is this happening?”
“Am I doing something wrong?”
“What should I change next?”

Now the truth is, a 30 minute nap doesn’t always mean something is wrong or that it needs to be fixed.

For some little ones, it’s completely age appropriate. For others, it can be a sign that something within their overall sleep rhythm needs a little tweak.

And this is where personalised support can make such a difference.

When I work with your family, I don’t just look at the nap itself. I look at the bigger picture and what’s happening across your little one’s entire day.
I help identify why the short naps are happening, whether they’re contributing to other sleep challenges, whether they actually need fixing and, if they do, how best to support your little one through the process.. including which nap or naps to focus on first to set both you and your little one up for success.

You don’t need more conflicting advice or another quick fix to try.

You need to understand the why behind your little one’s sleep so you can make changes with confidence and stop second-guessing every decision. 💛

If short naps are leaving you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure where to start, send me a message or book a FREE discovery call via the link in my bio.

Overtired little ones can be tricky to read because the signs aren’t always obvious.

Sometimes it looks like:
✨ Hyperactivity or “wired” behaviour
✨ More tears, frustration, or clinginess
✨ Fighting sleep or needing more support than usual

It’s easy to assume they’re not tired enough…

But often, it’s the opposite.

When little ones become overtired, their bodies can find it harder to switch off and settle, which is why naps and bedtime can suddenly feel like such a battle.

The good news? Overtiredness is incredibly common and something most families experience from time to time.

If you’re feeling stuck or want guidance for smoother naps and nights, send me a message or book a FREE discovery call via the link in my bio.

When this family first reached out, their 9 month old was waking every two hours overnight and relied on rocking to fall asleep.

Through my Dreamy Support Package, we worked together to create a gentle, supportive plan that suited their little one and, most importantly, felt comfortable and realistic for the whole family.

Within just a few days, their little one was settling with ease in their cot with support and no longer needed overnight feeds. By the end of our time together, he was confidently independently settling himself to sleep and sleeping consolidated 12 hour nights.

I am so proud of this family and everything they achieved. It was an absolute privilege to support them through their sleep journey. đź’›

If you’re currently feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, or stuck in a cycle of frequent night wakes or short naps, please know that sleep can get better.

With the right support, a clear plan, and guidance tailored to your little one, you can stop second-guessing every decision and start moving forward with confidence.

Here’s a sample schedule for a 14 month old to give you an idea of how naps and bedtime could look.

Remember: every little one is different. Awake windows, nap lengths, and bedtime may vary, use this as a guide, not a rulebook!

Consistency matters more than perfection. Slight adjustments to suit your family are ok!

If you’re unsure how to tweak a schedule to suit your little one’s unique needs, a 15 minute Routine Check Call can help. Send me a message to book.
