📚✨ Book Week Celebrations! ✨📚

Yesterday we celebrated Book Week with a wonderful day filled with stories, characters and lots of reading fun! 📖💛

Our students loved getting cosy for Reading Under the Covers in the library with Mrs Doak, enjoying some special story time in a fun and relaxing setting. 🛏️📚

They also loved sharing a book with their grandparents, parents and friends, making reading an extra special experience. 🥰

And of course, we finished the day with our Character Parade, where everyone had the chance to show off their fantastic costumes! 🎭✨

Thank you to everyone who helped make our Book Week celebrations so special. We loved celebrating the joy of reading together! ❤️📚

🎒 2027 KINDERGARTEN ORIENTATION 🎒

We’re excited to welcome our newest students to Bendemeer Public School, with our 2027 Kindergarten Orientation Program beginning Friday, 30 October! 🌟

If you have a child starting school next year, we’d love to welcome them to Bendemeer!

🚲🌟 Our students had so much fun bringing their bikes to school and enjoying a ride with their friends at recess and lunch! Lots of smiles, laps and fun were had! 💛💚

The National Science Week theme is "Seeds of Science: Nurturing knowledge for all".
In keeping with the theme, we invited Mr Winston Doak to talk to the students from years 3 to 6 about soil health and Bendemeer’s unique climate and short growing period for vegetables.
The students helped with digging in the crop of oats planted earlier, to improve the soil health, they then applied some gypsum to help break up the soil and dug that in. We will be planting onion, corn, zucchini, perpetual spinach and beans in a few weeks time when the soil gets a bit more warmth in it.
Spring is around the corner.🤞🌱🍆🥦🥒🌽

🔬🧪 Happy Science Week! 🧪🔬

Today, our K/1/2 students headed over the fence to Bendemeer Preschool and had the most amazing time exploring science through lots of fun and engaging activities! 🌟🔍

A huge thank you to Bendemeer Preschool for inviting us and for giving our students such an exciting and memorable Science Week experience! 💚💛🔬✨

💛💚 Tamworth Zone Athletics Carnival 💚💛

An amazing effort from all of our students at today’s Tamworth Zone Athletics Carnival! We are incredibly proud of every athlete for getting in, having a go and representing Bendemeer Public School with pride.

A huge congratulations to our relay team and Wyatt, who have qualified for the Regional Athletics Carnival! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️👏
