Students from Benalla’s Flexible Learning Centre held a special afternoon tea last week to recognise and celebrate the efforts of local CFA volunteers.

We’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the CFA members who supported our community during the Longwood bushfires. Your dedication means so much.

LOOKING FORWARD TO WHAT'S NEXT!

This week Matilda got a sneak peek into a career with Victoria Police. During the week at Benalla Police Station Matilda gained insight into court process, general duties roles, proactive policing, operational equipment and training.

Matilda has enjoyed her week of work experience at Benalla Police Station, "It was very engaging and eventful" said Matilda "It was interesting to see the different roles in policing, you not just stuck behind a desk all day".

Matilda felt welcomed and found a really nice connection between all the staff members. Matilda definitely sees a career with Victoria Police and inspires to merge her interest in policing with her love of horses to one day join the Mounted Branch.

We have been advised by the Bus Co-ordinator.
Due to recommendations by the Emergency Management Team no school busses should operate within the Potential Impact Zone area tomorrow, Monday, 3rd March 2025.
As a result, the Baddaginnie - Benalla bus service will be canceled for tomorrow morning. We will provide further updates for subsequent days as more information becomes available.
