💝 A Special Birthday Surprise 💝

One of our favourite parts of the day is chatting over the fence with one of the lovely residents from Wesley Gardens and her husband. Over time, these daily conversations have grown into a beautiful friendship.

When the children remembered her birthday was coming up, they created a giant birthday card filled with colourful drawings, kind words and birthday wishes. They were so excited to present it to her and help make her day extra special.

Moments like these remind us that friendship, kindness and community can bring people of all ages together.

Happy Mother's Day 💓

A big thank you to all our beautiful mums, aunties, grandmothers and special friends who joined us for our Mother’s Day celebrations at Forest Preschool this past week. We were lucky to enjoy the lovely weather and beautiful mornings outdoors together. 🌸

The children loved sharing special moments with their families through biscuit decorating, craft, dress-ups, puzzles, books, swings, songs and our Mother’s Day photo booth. Our mud kitchen tea party was also a huge hit, with children creating special cups of “rose tea” for their mums. 🌹

A special thank you to our wonderful educators for all the care and effort they put into creating such meaningful experiences for our families.

Wishing all our Forest Preschool mums and educator mums a very happy Mother’s Day.
We hope your day is filled with love, appreciation and special moments with your little people. 💕

This past week to help the children understand what today's parades and services are about, we learnt a little about what ANZAC DAY is. How it represents Australia and New Zealand -our Army, Navy and Airforce - and remembering people who helped keep others safe and people who were brave and helped their community.

We also made ANZAC biscuits together—measuring, mixing, rolling and pressing the mix — while talking about ideas like bravery, kindness, helping others and remembering.

The children created some beautiful red and purple poppy art that included rosemary fresh cut from our gardens, as a way to reflect and show respect. We were proud to present one of our poppy artworks to our friends at Wesley Gardens, where it will be displayed for others to enjoy and remember.
