The results are finally in for the SWISSA Athletics Championships, — and what a fantastic day for our All Saints Grammar athletes! 💙

ASG finished 2nd overall , with an incredible number of students placing 1st or 2nd in their events.

Special congratulations to Aundrea P as a SWISSA record-breaker in the 200m (31.18s), Javelin (12.47m) and High Jump (1.29m).

What will your child’s career look like in 10, 20 or 30 years?

With AI rapidly changing the way we work, it’s becoming harder to predict which jobs will grow, change or even emerge in the future.

Our Kindergarten students have been learning all about procedure writing this term, and what better way to put their learning into practice than by making fairy bread!

Students followed the steps to make their fairy bread, enjoyed eating their delicious creations and then used the experience as inspiration for their own procedure writing.

Learning experiences like this make writing meaningful and engaging, helping students connect what they learn in the classroom with real-world experiences, and a little fairy bread makes learning even sweeter!

As part of Bullying No Way Week, students across All Saints Grammar came together during Pastoral sessions to reflect on this year’s theme: Small Acts, Big Impact.

Working collaboratively, students created posters exploring how simple, everyday actions can help make our school a kinder, safer and more inclusive community.

From choosing kindness and including others to speaking up, supporting peers and communicating respectfully both at school and online, students reflected on the important role each of us plays in creating a positive school culture.

The message was clear: small actions, when we take them together, can make a big impact. 💙

Our History students took their learning beyond the classroom on an engaging day excursion to Canberra, bringing together history, science and technology in meaningful ways.

As students completed their study of World War I, including the Gallipoli campaign, their visit to the Australian War Memorial provided an opportunity to deepen their understanding of the people, events and experiences they have been learning about.

The learning continued at Questacon, where students explored how scientific discoveries and technological innovations shape our economy and transform society. Through interactive experiences, they were able to see how ideas and inventions can move from the classroom into the real world.

Excursions like this help students make connections between different areas of learning, develop deeper understanding and see the relevance of what they learn at school.

For students in Years 11 and 12, a first job can be much more than a way to earn spending money.

It can teach responsibility, build confidence, develop communication skills and give students a real-world lesson in managing time, money and competing priorities.

As part of their informative writing unit, our Year 2 students have been diving into the fascinating world of marine animals. They have been researching habitats, appearance and diets, building their knowledge while developing the skills needed to communicate information clearly and accurately.

A visit to SEA LIFE Aquarium provided the perfect opportunity to take their learning beyond the classroom and see shark, sea turtles and dugongs up close.

These activities help students deepen their understanding, connect classroom learning with the real world, and provide valuable inspiration for their writing.

From discovering marine life to becoming confident young writers, our Year 2 students are learning that knowledge is even more powerful when they can see it, experience it and share it!

Our school community recently came together in prayer and reflection to celebrate the Feast of the Dormition of the Theotokos, one of the most significant and holy days in the Orthodox Christian calendar.

Through participation in the Divine Liturgy, our students had the opportunity to experience faith as part of their education - developing a deeper understanding of Orthodox tradition, strengthening their sense of belonging and learning the values of humility, devotion and service.

These experiences are an important part of helping our students grow not only as learners, but as well-rounded young people grounded in faith, character and community.

We are grateful to gather together as a school community and continue this sacred tradition.

May the Theotokos continue to guide, protect and intercede for our students, families and school community. 🙏

Trial examinations begin at All Saints Grammar!

Today marks the beginning of the HSC Trial examinations for our Year 12 students which is an important milestone as they prepare for the final stages of their secondary schooling.

While Trials are an opportunity to demonstrate what they know, they also provide valuable experience in managing exam conditions, applying knowledge under pressure, managing time and identifying areas for further improvement before the HSC examinations.

Most importantly, this is a chance for students to reflect on their preparation, build confidence and develop the skills and resilience they will carry beyond the classroom.

We wish all our Year 12 students the very best as they take on this next challenge. Stay focused, trust your preparation and remember how far you have come.

We were delighted to welcome another group of students from China to All Saints Grammar for a special taste of life at ASG.

Paired with student buddies, our visiting students quickly settled into the rhythm of school life, joining classes, taking part in sport and trying their hand at Greek dancing.

Beyond the classroom, the visit was all about connection. New friendships formed, cultures were shared and our students had the opportunity to learn from one another through everyday experiences.

International exchange programs like this give students a chance to broaden their perspectives, develop confidence and build meaningful connections with people from different backgrounds.

We loved having our international visitors as part of the ASG community and thank them for bringing so much enthusiasm, curiosity and energy to their time with us.
