Attendance Matters – Week 7
This week, we celebrated 20 fewer whole-day absences, with 6 out of 7 year groups achieving an attendance rate above 90%! ⭐
Let’s keep building on this progress by arriving before 9:00am and ensuring all absences are explained.

This week is Literacy and Numeracy Week, and at Belmore South Public School, we are celebrating by sharing the daily successes of our students.
Each day, students are engaging in reading, writing and a range of literacy-based activities that help develop their foundational literacy skills. We are proud to celebrate their learning, progress and achievements throughout the week.
As this year’s theme reminds us, “Every word matters.” Make every word count by taking a little time each day to read, talk and share stories with your child.

Join us, in learning the foundations of teaching reading in the Kindergarten and Stage 1 classrooms next week on Thursday 10th September, to continue the celebration of Literacy week.

Don’t forget that we have our Father’s Day stall on tomorrow. Students will have the opportunity to visit the stall with their class and choose a special gift.
