Buddies is an important Program at Wangala. Our Preps are paired with a Year 5/6 Buddy who supports them throughout their first year of school, while our senior students develop valuable leadership skills as positive role models. Buddies meet regularly for a range of fun activities, with their latest catch-up featuring a fantastic AFL session full of teamwork, smiles and plenty of fun!

We may have missed celebrating on Friday because of our curriculum day, but we couldn’t let that get in our way!

Joe, thank you for all of the hard work, support and care that you bring to Wangala and our students. We are so lucky to have you leading our school and couldn’t think of anyone better to celebrate!

Wangala Primary School is excited to announce the appointment of Joe Doyle as the new substantive Principal. Many of you will already know Joe as he has been serving as Acting Principal since the beginning of the year. Throughout this time, Joe has demonstrated a strong commitment to building positive relationships with students, families, and the wider school community, while continuing to lead the school with care, stability and a clear focus on student learning and wellbeing. Joe brings extensive experience in educational leadership and is passionate about creating a school environment where every child feels known, supported, and challenged to achieve their best.
We are excited for the future direction of Wangala Primary School under his leadership.
