Winners for the Second Year in a Row!

Today, four teams of students from Stage 2 at Belmont North Public School, participated in the Hunter E.V Solar Car Competition at Tighes Hill TAFE. The competition included well over 100 teams from both public and private schools from across the Hunter region. All of our students performed amazingly, displaying great sportsmanship, and after an all Belmont North Final on the pursuit track, we took out both First and Second places overall!

Congratulations to our winning team of Izabel and Alecia!
A big shout out to Mr Booth, who once again guided the teams in building and improving their cars for the day over the past couple of months.

๐ŸŽ‰ What an incredible morning at Belmont North Public School!

Our annual Book Week parade was a huge success, with students and staff showing off their creativity in fantastic costumes inspired by their favourite book characters.

It was so wonderful to have Belmont Preschool join us and be part of the funโ€”thank you for coming along!

A special shoutout to the P&C for keeping us fuelled with delicious cakes and hot coffee at their stall.

We loved seeing the joy and excitement from our community today. Book Week truly brings us together to celebrate a love of reading. ๐Ÿ“š๐Ÿ’ซ

U12s Rugby League Gala Day

A fantastic day for our U12s at the Rugby League Gala Day!

Our students represented the school with pride, displaying outstanding sportsmanship, teamwork and respect throughout the day. It was great to see them encouraging one another, showing respect to their opponents and officials, and playing each game in the right spirit.

We were extremely proud of the way they conducted themselves both on and off the field.

A huge thank you to Ausgrid for visiting Belmont North Public School this afternoon and delivering an engaging and important electricity safety presentation for our Stage 3 students! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ”Œ

Our students learnt about:
โšก๏ธ The dangers of electricity
๐Ÿšจ What to do in an electrical emergency
๐Ÿ  Electrical safety in and around the home
๐ŸŒณ Staying safe around electricity when playing outdoors
๐Ÿ”Œ How electricity connects to our community through the Jewels Substation

It was a fantastic opportunity for our students to learn practical skills and safety messages that they can take home and share with their families.

The countdown is on! ๐ŸŽ‰ Weโ€™re excited to invite our Belmont North Public School community to our annual Book Week Parade! ๐Ÿ“–๐Ÿ’ซ

๐ŸŽญ Friday 11 September at 9:15am

Students are encouraged to come dressed as their favourite book character and celebrate the wonderful world of books, imagination and storytelling! ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿ“š

There will be plenty of creativity, colour and fun as our students bring their favourite stories to life. We canโ€™t wait to see all the amazing costumes! ๐Ÿง™โ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿฆธโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘‘

โ˜•๐Ÿฐ The P&C will also be running a cake and coffee stall, so come along, enjoy a treat and support our wonderful school community.

๐Ÿ’™ Fatherโ€™s Day Breakfast at Belmont North Public School ๐Ÿ’™

What a wonderful morning we shared celebrating the special dads and father figures in our Belmont North Public School community! ๐Ÿฅฐ

Our Fatherโ€™s Day Breakfast was filled with sausage sizzles, tea, coffee, games and lots of smiles and laughter. ๐Ÿ˜€

A huge thank you to Bernie and his team of helpers from the Belmont Salvation Army for our wonderful sausage sizzle breakfast!

A special highlight was the fabulous display of portraits created by our students, celebrating their dads and special people in their lives. It was wonderful to see the love, creativity and thought that went into each and every portrait. ๐ŸŽจ๐Ÿ’™

Thank you to all the dads, grandfathers, carers and special people who joined us this morning and helped make it such a memorable celebration.
