Beef Bonanza preparation was under way today. Students got to name a steer each and watch the steers get tagged with the names they chose. Steers were weighed and students documented the details. We are looking forward to seeing the progress in coming weeks, recording the weight of the steers as they grow. What a perfect way to learn about how our meat is produced as well as the huge amount of maths involved in the process. It was not just fun but a very educational experience. Thank you to the generous organisers who taught us so much today.

Students have been exploring symmetry and the lines of symmetry in some 2D shapes. They have also been creating their own symmetrical artworks inspired by the art of Heather Hansen.
